please help me

i got this new game animal crossing wild world fro ebay
and i can't get a friend code it said oh you have not got a friend code yet bla bla bla
would u like one i put yh then it said can i connect to nintdo wcf using the nintendo ds your playing with
i put go for it is loding then it saids no compatible access poinyt in range please check your connection dettings

OK, well, I haven't actually done this myself, but I read it in an instruction booklet. If
you have Wi-Fi in your house, then you need to connect your DS, or DSi (or whatever
Nintendo system you have)to your Wi-Fi. It is pretty complicated! But, for help go to
WWW.NINTENDOWIFI.COM Or call 1-800-895-1672. You may or may not have an Nintendo Wi-Fi
connection instruction booklet in your game case. This booklet will tell you step by step
how to set it up.
