To talk to people in your town:

Tap them or press a when your near them

To talk to friends from other towns:

First you must get a friend code, to do this go to your town gates and talk the guy on the right(forgot his name!). Then invite a friend by opening your gates, or go over another person’s town. Then to talk to them tap the blue arrow in the top right corner and tap the purple icon at the top of the touch screen. Type what you want to say, and then both people will see the message.

To wave to people in your town:

Make sure your facing the person and you are on 2 separate sides of the screen, one at the top of the touch screen, from far away(most likely the person your trying to wave to) and the other at the bottom. Now tap the person your trying to wave to.

Tip 3:Shake Trees for Money, Furniture, or Bees...

Tip 4:Hit Rocks With Your Shovel. {May Work}

Tip 5:Visit Other Towns and Collect Exotic Fruit.

Tip 6:Visit a Friend's Town and Trade With Them! {Have Fun!}.

Tip 7:Write Letters With Unwanted Items and Sell What You Get Back.

Golden Shovel: Buy two shovels. Bury one of them with the other. Time travel/wait till the next day, then dig up the shovel. It should then be a golden shovel!

Golden Watering Can: Make your town perfect, then keep it that way (Like watering flowers and picking three weeds daily) for 16 days, then Pelly/Phyllis will give you the golden wc

Golden Slingshot: Shoot 15 items out of the sky, and the next time there will be a gift with golden balloons. Shoot it down and there will be a Golden Slingshot inside it. If you miss and it flies off or it falls in the water, you must shoot another 15 balloons to get another chance.

Golden Net: Catch every single type of bug there is, then at the Bug Off! talk to Tortimer and he'll give you the golden net.

Golden Fishing Rod: Catch every single type of fish, then when the Fishing Tourney comes, talk to Tortimer. You'll get the golden fr.

Golden Axe: This is in my opinion the most complicated golden tool you can get, but it never breaks. If you get the other option not needed for the GA, then you will have to start over. :(

1. You start by buying a red turnip from Joan. If you had time traveled at all that week she will have run out. Plant the red turnip and wait for Wendell to come to your town. (You must water the red turnip every day, or you could just keep the seeds until Wendell visits and plant it then immediately dig it up ) When he does, dig up the turnip and feed it to him. He will give you either a Turban or a Country Guitar. (You need the Turban for the Golden Axe) If you get the Country Guitar, give it to K.K. Slider the next time he visits at the Roost on Saturday Night 8:00-12:00. He will give you his picture in return. If you get the Turban, move to the next step.

2. When you get the Turban, wait for Saharah to visit, and give her the Turban. She will either give you a Red Vase or a Massage Chair. (Massage Chair needed for GA.) If you get a Red vase, give it to Crazy Red's and talk to him. He'll ask for it, and if you say yes, he will give you a Safe, which you can give to Tom Nook for his picture. If you got a Massage chair continue with the next step.

3. Wait for a holiday/event once you obtain the Massage Chair, and when Tortimer is outside, proudly present it to him. He will thankfully hand over the Scallop. Finally go to the last step.

4. You must check the beach often in case Pascal is there. Booker will not notice him even if you ask him, so you must check yourself. Once he is... 

You can get Nookingtons by first getting Nookway. You get Nookway by at least spending 65,000 bells in all the stores combined. Then, after you've had Nookway for a while, have a friend visit your town. Let them buy anything from Nookway, it can be expensive (throne) or cheap (Like a pack of seeds). The next day, Nooks should be closed. You can choose to either time travel or wait for it. After that, you should have Nookingtons.

1. Rocks- Dig 2 holes behind every rock a hit it with a golden shovel. you'll know it's the money rock when bags of money come out. Do this everyday. You get 1 money rock per day.
2. Bugs- Get your net out and catch as many bugs as you can hold. Go to Tom Nook and sell them. Do that as much as you can.
3. Fish- Do the same as the bugs. Be careful, sharks are hard to get. If you are skilled enough, you get them.
4. Clothing- Get the clothes you don't want and sell them. If you run out of space, stuff them in your letters.
5. Furniture- Do same as Clothing.
6. Acorns- After the Acorn Fest, gather up all the extra acorns and sell them to Nook.
7. Villagers- Always talk to your fellow friends! They may give you gifts for your kindness.
8. Bank- Put your money in the bank and wait. The Town Hall will give you a few Bells for interest.
9. Trees- Trees have bugs, bells, and furniture. Pick up the Bells you get. When Bees fly out run away and pull out your inventory. Put your net on and quickly fling your net at them. You might get them! Plus, you won't get hurt! For Furniture you go to Nook and sell.
10. Flowers- Either the Flower Fest, or not, this works. Put 1 rose and one other flower in your hair. Put as many flowers as you can in your letters and inventory. Go to Nook and sell. Don't sell to many because it lowers your environment level.
11. Flea Market- What I do is I put my favorite stuff away one day before the Flea market.
I gather up old junky stuff I don't want and set it up like a store. I save and set it to the next day and wait for my customers! When they are just standing there, up upstairs for 10 seconds and came back down. They'll be browsing again. When you run out of things, get more. After all villagers come, switch to a different player. Do that back and forth until no one comes or you run out of stock.
12. Seashells- Go to the Beach and grab shells. Go to Nook's and sell. When you come back there will be more.
13- Lost and Found- Go to the Town Gate and talk to Booker. (the cat) Select "Something Lost" and put all the things in your inventory.
14. Fossils- Dig up things. You'll either get a Gongroid or whatever it's called or a fossil. You need to go the Museum and check what it is. You don't need to put it in there, but if you do no one's gonna stop ya! Go and Sell at Nook's.
15. Equipment- When you get something gold, go to Nook's and sell the regular.

(I know this isn't a secret, but it kinda is.)
Have you got neighbours you hate in animal crossingEveryone does. I hate Cyondo and yesterday was the WORST DAY OF HER LIFE!! Heres how i did it.
1. bury holes in the shape of a square with a gap. Pretend the circles are holes

2. Find desired animal and push into gap. Warning: May giveout on the way down. Pretend the "A" is the animal.

dig a hole in gap when animals trapped . If he's trying to get out, push it into side of thing. May grumble. Dig it when walking into wall. Or easier, stand in gap and go into invetory and when it walks into the wall, there's your chance.
3. When trapped, get rid of these holes.

The arrows are the the holes you get rid of. It can't get out but you can hit it with the net and talk to it.
4. You can hit it with the net for as long as you like. It won't be able to move, but it will give out to you. Then, i finished it off with a pitfall seed . Bury it into one of the holes.

Thats how i made Cyondo hate me. Nowadays she gives me THE MEAN GLARE.
If you repeat this everyday, your hated neighbours should move away. Also if you talk to it, Select Made y0u look or whatever option at the bottom. Also opening the mail they asked you to deliver then talking to them then they'll take it back. That annoys them.
