In the puppetmaster once you go for a while you get to a place with a switch on either side and a raised platform with another switch. how do i activate them all?

so i fight about 4 rounds and then sokka says that were almost there and then i fight the next people and i kill them and then its game over PLZZZ HELP!!!p.s its like the tram car thing thats on the wires is leaving or something

At the beginning Sokka tells you about some ladder you need to climb up, only jumping doesn't reach it and we can't seem to move a box that might help. Any suggestions as to what to try?
