Stuck at beginning of Boiling Rock - what do I do?


I'm stuck at the beginning part of the boiling rock level. I'm outside and there's a door and some pipes and the fire nation symbol, which Zuko says is important. I think I have to do something about that but I don't know what! Please help. =)

How to open the door


You get as far to the right as you can before the giant fan, where there is a lantern.
hit it down with sokka's boomerang. then firebend the tree to the left. get fire then
follow the light till you get to the door. then use your fire on the symbol.
