anyone have cheats that dont require an action replay

there are no cheats that dont use action relay for dqix but if its alchemy you need help
with then this is the place for you:

to do alchemy you need to use the correct combination of items in the krak pot, which can
be found in the stornaway inn.
recipes will tell you a lot of combinations, and recipes can be found by reading certain
books (found in the many bookshelves of the land) but a lot of items require guesswork.

btw, here's some recipes that you may want to do - they're useful in the early stages.
1x Silver mail + 1xgold ring + 1x gold bracer = gold mail

1x gold mail + 1x platinum ore = platinum mail.

those are basic but because you don't know what alchemy is i'm guessing you're quite new
to the game. gold rings and bracers can be bought from several shops (porth llaffan are
the cheapest), silver mail can be bought in bloomingdale or occasionally found in blue
chests in caves, and platinum ore can be founf near the bad cave, north of bloomingdale,
or east to swinedimples.

gold mail and platinum mail? how can you make that c.r.a.p instead of much better stuff.
the thing id go for is mirror armour, then upgrade it to catriopic armour
