In Dragon Quest VI you must activate Dreamsharing. In Dragon Quest IX you must activate Tag Mode.

You will recieve a free Neutral monster in your monster pen when you reach a certan number of monsters whether you scouted or synthenised them, As long as you owned the monster it will count.

Get your monster library to at least 50 monsters and check the computer at the monster storage room.

After you defeat Leonyx, you can return to the beach and scout Khalamari. She is a powerful size 3 rank S monster of the nature family.

After you defeat Leonyx, you can return to the mountain(the one with all the snow). Use Teleport to get to near the end. Go to where you first fought her. Go to the fire. Bjorn will come. Then you will have the battle. Bjorn is a size 3, rank B monster of the Beast Family.

After you defeat Leonyx, you can return to the mountain(the one with the giant nest). When you get there, Empyrea will appear and battle you. She is a powerful size 3, rank A monster from the Nature Family.

After you defeat Leonyx, you can return to the Forest. Go to where Wiggly sleeps at night(must go there at night). Go into Wiggly's mouth only to be spat out. Then the battle begins. Wiggly is a size 3, rank D monster of the Nature Family.

After you defeat Leonyx, you can return to the plains. Go into the far off cave where she sleeps during the day(must go there during the day). You will first have to fight the tail. Then she will wake up and battle you. Missing Lynx is a size 3, rank C monster of the Beast Family.

After scouting a slime at the crash site, the Forest becomes avalible to go to.
Here, the object will be to save the one guy who got eaten by the giant worm(Wiggly).
To get to the guy, you must go into Wiggly.

As you progress through, you will want to scout some monsters such as a Swarm, Funghoul, Metal Slime(if you're lucky).

Go down the path that Wiggly follows. It will lead you to a place filled with mud(scout a Muddy Hand). At the end you will notice something blocking the way up. Wait until the music sounds and then get out of the way becuase Wiggly is coming. He will move it. Go up.

Follow the path until you get to the room with the cave. Go through the cave.

Keep following the path, but get off of it when Wiggly is coming. When in the next room, Hell Hornets can be found. The log will move when it rains* In the next room, climb up the pink vines to find a pathway(left), a cave(right), and a strange stone(forward). The stone will heal all of your monsters' HP and MP. Head left. When you enter go left to the crystal and activate it. Then follow the path into the cave.!Caution! A very strong rank B Boss Troll may be in the way. When in the cave, go down and then over to Wiggly's mouth. At the back, the guy will be there, as you leave, an eye monster will attack. Defeat the monster! Afterwards, Wiggly will spit you out and leave. Now feel free to go back and look for monsters, items, treasure cheats, ect.

*Weather changes after the level is complete

In order to do this, take 2 of the same monsters(example Slime). WHen they are both over level 20, synthesis them. The result will be a Slime rank C(or any other monster you use(this only works with certain monsters). Get 3 more of those rank C Slimes and synthesis them. After a while, the result will be either a rank A or S monster.

Monsters this works with include:Slime, Goodybag, Skeleton, Teeny Sanguini.

The third, and final technique is to use weapons that have a stronger affect on metal monsters. Weapons like that can be found around or won at the Battle arena. By using an combo of each 3 techniques such as 1,2, and 3 will help result in a higher chance of scouting. It doesn't make it another technique though.

In order to unlock the Incarni, you must first fight all 4 forms(they are in the mirrors).
Afterwards, go to where the flying ship crashed, and go to the cliff(must walk on narrow ledge). Talk to the Incarni there, and it will join you.(Japanese version)(May not work in English version)

After you beat the girl with the Mumbo-Jumbo and the Atlas, you will view the staff credits. Then if you go to where the monsters are stored, go down the ladder, and go to the right(over to the bush) and click on the posters, you will then review the staff credits.

Another way to easily scout Metal Slimes is to use brute force. This may happen later, but chances of getting a Metal Slime are about 80%(if done correctly). What you need is to buy some oomph powder and then sneak up on a Metal Slime. If it doesn't notice your presence, use the oomph powder on one monster and have another monster cast oomph or raise its tension(opional). The stronger the monster, the better. A Gigantes works fine. Level 50+ also work.

What you do is you must search for 4 dark crystals(in 4 different parts of the place).
After all 4 crystals are found, the giant door will open. Go into the door, turn the gears so that you can get through. When you go up the final stairs, you will come to the boss room. Heal and then go down the latters. When you get to the end, you will have very little time before you fight _______(I don't know his name, I have the Japanese version).

He attacks twice per turn, one of which is physical. Unless you have some A, S, or SS ranks with 500+ HP, this fight will almost be impossible. Metal Slimes and such are useless in this fight.

First scout 1(or more Swarm) and raise up there level. When there attack is around 150(roughly)and they are holding some kind of weapon, sneek up on a Metal Slime(in the field). Attack. If done correctly 1 Swarm should do about 20%. Synthesised Swarm will do better.
