never heard of linde, all i know is that merric has the excaliber which is awsome and got
him leveled up fast

Nino is a mage you get in Fire Emblem 7 very late in the game, you don't get much time to
train her, but she turns out AMAZING! Linde is just like that, but I trained Merric, he
turned out, REALLY good, but I don't need Linde yet, (I trained Merric in Chapter 8) so I
don't know who turns out better!

i used to have that one, but then i was stoopid enough to buy the dsi. i let merric die
and i didn't know until the next chapter :) they both are good since they have excaliber
and aura. i didn't know excaliber was REALLY good against fliers!!!! i don't know what
aura is good against

Aura isn't made to kill anything effectively, it usually just kills people because it's a
powerful tome.
