Forging-678 Characters/Mini Walkthroughs-294 FAQ-329 Copright Stuff-430 Forging- 678s You can make the most effective bow (and the most expensive) by extremely modifying the parameters of a Silver Bow, the best axe by changing the Silver Axe, best sword by morphing a Levin Sword (two-range). But, you can still make fantastic weapons with Iron, and even the weakest tomes. Now, what you need to remember is that the lower the weight, the lighter and better your chance of attacking twice is. So if you make the Javelin with parameters like Might: 13, Hit: 150 and Critical: 10, no matter what, youre gonna have an awesome two-range lance, but if you have a high weight and give it to a weak character because you thought HIGHER would make it faster, then get ready to lose that weapon upon death. Now, awesome parameters would be: Iron Bow expenses: around 20000 Might: 15 Hit: 93 Crit: 9 Weight: 3 Name: Wolfen Bow (for Wolf) Not these, SILVER Bow Might: 15 Hit: 95 Crit: 9 Weight: 3 That would be almost the same as the Wolfen Bow! That would still be awesome, but it would be a waste of money! Sacred Swords Set ALTEA BLADE Silver Sword Might: 17 Hit: 100 Crit: 7 Weight: 4 ICE EDGE Iron Sword Might: 7 Hit: 101 Crit: 3 Weight: 3 Dead Set DEADWING Iron Sword Might: 10 Hit: 90 Crit: 35 Weight: 3 DEADEDGE Iron Sword Might: 15 Hit: 110 Crit: 7 Weight: 2 DEATH BLADE Iron Sword Might: 13 Hit: 120 Crit: 25 Weight: 4 Gods Set ATHENA BOW ZEUS SWORD Send me your best weapon stats! Post them on the forums. Characters- 294s UNIT CLASSES The best thing about Shadow Dragon is either the animations or the Reclass option. You can change any unit from a base class (left side) to another, or from upper class (right side) to another. Classes and what they use (s-sword, l-lance, b-bow, m-magic, st-staff, ba-ballistae, fs/ds-firestone/divinestone, and a-axe) Lord, S (cant reclass) Pegasus Knight, L Dracoknight, A L Curate/Cleric, St Bishop, St M Mage, M Sage, St M Thief, S (cant reclass) Myrmidon, S Swordmaster, S Archer, B Sniper, S Mercenary, S Hero, S A Cavalier, L S Paladin, L S Ballistician, Ba (cant reclass) Knight, L General, L B Manakete, Fs/Ds (cant reclass) Pirate, A Berserker, A Fighter, A Warrior, A B Hunter, B Horseman, B S Dark Mage, Dark M Sorcerer, Dark M Recruitments IN ORDER BY LEVEL PROLOGUE IV The character you should decoy is Jagen. Theres no use for him except for in Hard mode. Gordin, a.k.a. Gaggles, Archer: Talk to with Marth. Just barge right in through the gate. Also, if you finish this prologue with 4 or less units in your party, youll get Norne, an Archer. CHAPTER 1 Wrys, Curate: Visit the western village with Marth. He makes an awesome Myrmidon, too! CHAPTER 2 Darros, Pirate: Talk to with Marth. Castor, Hunter: Talk to with Caeda. CHAPTER 3 If you only have 10 total characters after you finish this you will get Trim, a Fighter, Unil, a Mage, Dua, a Mercenary, and Quatra, a Knight for having a weak army Navarre, Myrmidon: Owner of my Deadwing, talk to him with Caeda. CHAPTER 4 Matthis, Cavalier: Talk to with Lena. Hes weird; hell attack/kill Lena and ask where she is hes useless, but Lenas not. Merric, Mage: Visit the northern Village with Marth. CHAPTER 5 Wendell, Sage: This guy is useless when you promote Lena. But, its fun to have all the characters, so talk to him with Merric or Marth. CHAPTER 6 Rickard, Thief: This guy is sick. Talk to him with Julian or Marth. CHAPTER 7 Bantu, Manakette: You shouldnt bother getting him. He has no weapons. I use him as a traveling Convoy, though. Visit the old dragon guy with Marth. You need to hurry to the village, though. The thief will destroy it when he gets to it. Oh, and stay away from Minerva. She wont move, so just stay away until she leaves. Her Hauteclere will kill you! CHAPTER 8 This took me a few tries. Just run through it with Marth, Caeda, and your best character. Then, run past the reinforcements, and just kill the boss (with the Rapier and Wing Spear). Roger, Knight: Talk to with Caeda. Hes weird; when Caeda talked to him, he turned red as a strawberry and now loves Caeda. Wow. AND, he tells this to Marth. And Marth ends up marrying Caeda (if she doesnt die). Dont let her die! CHAPTER 9 Jorge, Sniper: Visit the village with Marth. CHAPTER 10 Princess Minerva FIRST get Maria. Then, worry about Minerva. Maria, Cleric: Talk to with Marth. What I did was charge the castle with Marth and Wolf. I left Sedgar, Draug, Ogma, and Caeda in front of the other units facing the Pegasus Knights. I quickly killed the two Knights inside the castle, and used Sedgars Steel Bow and my Wolfen Bow to defeat the Pegasus Knights. Then, before the reinforcements came in, I moved all my units inside and let the Archers attack Marth and some other strong units, and then on the next turn, I got some experience for Julian by having him kill the Sniper. Then I defeated the others. Next, the reinforcements were there. I found out how to handle these. I had one unit blocking the hallway, then I killed them until a Horseman was in front with another one-range unit behind. Then, I placed a unit in front of the Horseman and had no one behind him. They couldnt attack. A human player would know to move the Horseman away and have the cavalier attack, but these were computer controlled. Then I moved Marth and Julian over to the prison and freed Maria. Minerva, Dracoknight: When you recruit Maria, dont put anyone in front of Marth. Minerva will come and talk to Marth. CHAPTER 11 Knorde Market Linde, Mage: She may only be a level D in magic, but she can use level B Aura! Have Marth Visit the village in the southeast. You can have Minerva or Caeda move over and block the village from the thief, or just have Marth rush over and take care of the Grust guy himself. Jake, Ballistician: First, make sure you visited the house in the southeast with Anna. This is essential! Now, talk to with Caeda. There are four ways to do this; one, have Caeda become a Dracoknight, therefore having a ten-move range, and killing every Grust soldier besides Jake. All this time, have Caeda JUST outside all the Ballisticians move ranges. Then, when the map is clear (except for Jake), move her within three spaces of Jake. The next turn, talk to him. This way, you can take down Mannu if you hadnt already, or any other flying bosses. Because if a Ballistician attacks a flying unit, remember, Arrowspate, a Ballistae weapon, are arrows, and arrows are super-effective against flyers. The second, pointless way, is if you cant promote Caeda, start by killing every Grust soldier besides Jake. All this time, have Caeda JUST outside all the Ballisticians move ranges. Then, when the map is clear (except for Jake), have some of your strong units with lots of health (Hardin works great) move within Jakes range. Heal as necessary, and when Jake uses all his ammo, move Caeda closer and talk to him. By this time, Jake will be useless because he has no arrows left. But, you can get another Hoistflamme and a Stonehoist in chapter 13. The third is one I should of thought of before. Reclass Caeda to another fighting unit and have her move in. This way, the super effect isnt in effect. Then, you can reclass her back. Or, you could just move right in as a Pegasus Knight and PRAY that he misses Caeda. CHAPTER 12 The Ageless Palace Really no recruitments, but the people up in the cage need help. Keep the ones with little health OUT of the archers and mages range. Now, by killing one of the thieves on the left, youll get the Warp Staff. Give it to Lena and Warp Marth outside of that cage. Fight off all the enemies, and Warp Julian or Rickard inside the cage. Have him pick the lock and let them out. You should train Tomas, because after this chapter, you will get the Parthia bow, which is sacred or something. It requires mastery of the bow. CHAPTER 13 Wooden Cavalry OKAY, the bosss weapon. Read the name. PACHYDERM. Wow, a stone elephant. That will hurt. Anyway, this is the EASIEST level past level 7. If you get Beck. Beck, Ballistician: Just visit the village with Marth. Beck has Thunderbolt, which is great against other Ballistae (Wooden Cavalry, get it). BOO-YAH! This level is FULL of Ballistae! The boss is a Ballistician! This should take all of 5 minutes. Astram, Hero: Midea has to talk to him. The problem is, Astram is weird (like Matthis). He will attack/kill Midea if shes in his range. Lucky for you, shes a Paladin. Lure him closer, and then chat. CHAPTER 14 Have Marth and Julian move towards the chest, kill the thieves, and have Julian unlock the door and Marth kill the Sniper. Your best three characters go around the side and take out thearchers and the reinforcements that go that way. Wolf and Sedgar are great because they use bows and have a great move range. The bows will kill the Pegasus Knights, and can reach those Archers. Then, while Julian gets the stuff from the chest, Marth takes the Silver Card from him and moves towards the Armory. He draws all the reinforcements to him and when theyre done coming out, move him to the boss along with Sedgar and Wolf and a healer. Take down the boss. Palla and Catria, Pegasus Knights: While Marth is heading towards the Armory and Julian is going to unlock the door, these girls will go over to Marth and talk to him. Just find a spot to draw in the reinforcements, and theyll talk to you. Plus, they rule! CHAPTER 15 Ok, there are no recruitments in this chapter, but its important to know this: Gharnef (yes, the evil Sorcerer), is invincible. Not even level 29 Marth with a forge-maxed Silver Sword. Not even level 20 Wolf or Sedgar with the Parthia bow. Only the Falchion, which Gharnef has, or Starlight, which youll learn about after this chapter. I thought that I could use my Altea Blade to do it, but he ended up killing Sedgar So I restarted the chapter. You need to keep everyone away from the evil freak, so I chose all my flying units (so that they could fly over thee river and fly away). I even reclassed Hardin from a Paladin to a Dracoknight for the level. You lure Gharnef to near where the castle is, then run away with all your other characters, leaving Marth. He CAN kill Marth, but he would have to use three turns (I had Marth at level 26, 39 hitpoints, and Gharnef did 19 with Imhullu). I think Parthia may work to beat him, but it probably wont Dont worry about the thief. You dont need the items he steals. If you find that you do, then hurry over and kick his butt swiftly. Gharnef leaves on turn 6. So, after that, head for the castle and get it over with. You could actually do this level using only Marth and maybe a healer with Psychic (I use Lena- reclassed as a Sage). ILL FINISH THIS WALKTHROUGH SOON, OK! FAQ- 329s Actually, I made most of these up! Q-Can you kill Gharnef with an Altea Blade thats even stronger than yours A-Please dont ask if you can kill Gharnef. YOU CANT! And my Altea Blade is WAY to expensive to upgrade. Q- What level do you need to promote a class A- 10 and a Master Seal. Q- I rule. A- Thats not a question! Q- Whos better, Ike, Sedgar, Wolf, Marth, or Seth A- Rickard. Q- I tried your making Jake use all of his arrows method, and I cant get him another Ballista! A- In the Wooden Cavalry level, you can! Q- How do you pronounce Caeda A- Shee-duh. COPYRIGHT STUFF- 430s Yeah I dont care if you copy it just give me a little credit. If you dont, I will find you Yes, I will Muahahahahahaha! If you have corrections, post em on the forums. Please, ask for pronounciations, theyre fun to answer (LOL). And remember, MarthRULEZ. |
