How do I get into Mineral town because this little sprite named jackie keeps telling me that i can't skip work.
How do I get guys to like my character?
How do I get the fishing rod? Every time I go to Galens house on saturday between 11:00 and 1:00 he never gives it to me so I am sooo confused an dI don't have anything equipped.

A REAL Answer.
Okay to answer your question:
You can never go into Mineral Town, the
Characters can come to Forget-Me-Not Valley
but you can't go.
To make the bachelors like you, you have to
raise their affection points. If you give
them their favourite gift it's + 900, and if
you give them an okay gift it's +300.
Changing your clothes also raises AP +300.
Giving a boy thier most hated gift could
make him fall down a couple hearts. BEWARE.
And with that IDK, in all my games I never
got it because it's not really important
to finishing the game. :]

some answers to your question...
you cant go to Mineral Town idk y, give the guy you like his fav thing here are a few
things i know some of the guys like: Rock; Cheese Fondue, Skye; finest curry, Docter
Trent; Milk, and so on, as for the fihsing rod just go to the old dude is house when him
and his wife are home and he gives it to you HOPE I HELPED!!!! ^-^

fishing pole answer
go to Galen's house (the elderly man) on Saturday between 11AM -1PM. Make certain you do
not have any tools equipped when you visit him. He will give you a fishing pole.
