Julia and her mom, Mirabelle, will arrive on the island around the 12th of Spring in your first year. They will set up the animal shop where you can purchase sheep, cows, chickens, and various other animal merchandise. Julia has a fondness for animals and will go out of her way to locate any creatures in distress.

As helpful as she is with animals, Julia is poorly skilled at cooking. Mirabelle is always hesitant to eat her meals. She also has a high dislike for cruelty against fish, including any fish you may have caught or any cooked dish you make with them. That doesn't mean that you can't fish though; just don't show the fish to Julia.
