just go to ganon shop upgrade the hammer and then break a big rock :) hope this helps

ok you have to buy a hammer thats has at least one slot (preferably two) then eguip one
yellow wonderful(buy 1 from chen eguip with charlie, this will break the big smooth rocks)
or if you wan to break the big rugged looking ones you have o have 2 yellow
wonderfuls...to use stand near rock hold down 'Y' button until red and release takes 6
hits i believe
