beating voldemort at the end


I can't seem to beat voldemort in year 7 at the end. I don't have any character options to switch between and the shield i found doesn't do squat. Voldemort keeps killing me while i run around being worthless. How do i win this level?

Have you placed the shield on the statue? If you do so & stand behind it one of
voldemort's spells will ricochet back on him. Alas this doesn't kill him, but i think you
get another object revealed.

I'm stuck further on in what i think is the final final battle, trying to find a blue
lollipop to add to a cauldron whilst being continually murdered by old voldy.
