just take the tree vine to your cave or house and there will be a cut scene and after that
you will be able to make rope and the materials too

Tell your partner the following:

1) I want you to do something.
2) I need something made.
3) Rope

Another screen will show up, where you can give your partner some vine in order to make
the rope. 1 vine = 1 rope

You only need vines to make ropes. Vines are scattered all around the jungle so you'll
need to do some running around to find them. They look like a curled bunch of brownish
string-things

where is the jungle and how do you get there?
