Daisy is an unlockable character in this game.

At the start of a race, just after "2", press A and hold until ur kart starts moving. It gives u a boost and it really helps to get a good start.

Press A on the number one then take it off when the race starts. (Note! :Dont holdit on the number two because your tires are going to blow up!! )

At a corner hold R if its aright turn and L if its a left turn then rapidly press left, right, up and down in any order until you see a blue spark then a red spark and then let go of L or R to get a boost, this boost isn't as good as a mushroom boost but, it'll help!

To unlock Daisy you need to win gold for 50 speed. Wene i say win gold i meen win gold in all cups. If you do this right you will unlock Daisy. Good Luck :)

Unlock secret drivers by doing the following.

This can be VERY hard for new players,but if you try many times you can make it.
P.S. It was hard for me, too! It took me more than two hours to do it! Lol!

Snaking: Like drifting, but more advanced.

You have to be very good at playing Mario Kart DS to do this.

Snaking is used when you're in a straight line, or straightaway. You do the same as you do in drifting. It's not cheating because you're no altering the game.
Anyway, snaking is the best way to get a boost.

The best way to see an example of snaking is to connect to Wi-Fi at either a hotspot (at a McDonalds) or at home, if you a access to the internet and have a wireless router.

NOTE: I didn't make this code, I just discovered it from changing the digits in rows 3,4 & 5 in the second column. To get the hot wheels sized kart, replace all of the xxxx's with 0250, Or insert your own numbers there. I highly recommend going by 25's or 50's. I tried using 250D for the xxxx, and it made me bigger. I'm uncertain about the other letters, so experiment with that.

Rob is the last personne to unlock in Mario Kart Ds. To unlock him you must win gold in all cups the 50cc, the 100cc, the 150cc and after you will unlock the 150cc mirror.In the 150cc mirror you must win all cups gold and you will have unlocked Rob.

The staff ghosts have stars next to their nicknames when you see them on tracks. You can earn a star for yourself as well. It is only visible to other players in-game, but the star appears in your Records screen (Records button from the main menu) when you earn it.
