ON world 2-2 or 2-3, (not sure), when lakitu is throwing spikes get up on to a high position and make sure you're the mario who fires fireballs jump up above him and keep firing if you hit him he will dies but his cloud will be still there jump up into it and you can ride around in it for a while! NOTE THE CLOUD DOESN'T LAST FOREVER AFTER A WHILE IT'LL GO AWAY.

In W2 when those Lakuitas in the flying clouds are throwing those spinys at you, shott a fire ball at them and they will fall out of their cloud, then you can jump in it and fly around!

In the snow world level 5-c,after the checkpointbeat the zombie and break all the top bricks above the checkpoint.the jump into the layer of lower bricks(dont ground pound and you have to have a mushroom)you will jump into 1 with a pihranna beanstalk and in the top is where you will find your last coin.

To get World 3 you need to defeat the last castle on World 2 in small form (tiny Blue Mushroom) and for World 7 you need to defeat the last castle in small form (like before)

If the timer ends in 11, 22, or 33 when you touch the flagpole, a Mushroom
House will appear.

If the timer ends in 44, 55, or 66 when you touch the flagpole, a 1-Up House
will appear.

And if the timer ends in 77, 88, or 99 when you touch the flagpole, a Mega
Mushroom House will appear.

At the end of world 1-1, there is a red koopa on the platform, jump on it and carry it towards the steps.

when your at the steps, go a few steps up (make sure your holding the down button so you don't get hit by the koopa)

then, when the koopa has come out of it's shell, jump on it and press "A" straight after, then you will keep bouncing and getting 1ups. this is the quickest way to get 99 lives ;)

Lets you Play Luigi in story mode.Before you select a game file hold L and R then press A
on the game file you want to play.

When fighting bowser jr., if your fire bro, when you bounce on his head he goes under his shell, well then fling away with fire balls to quickly defeat him. i did this so i know it works. (i did it on w2 though)

It's not really a cheat, but Nintendo just decided to make the game this way:

First, you have to get Luigi. Read the other cheats for how to make Luigi.
When you start off, you're tiny. But, if you get a Poison Mushroom (mushroom that makes you very tiny), you can jump really, really high.
That's all there is to it. The only thing that's not right about it is if you don't think that TTL jumps high. So believe he jumps high, and he will seem to jump high.

If you want to do sky tricks first go to the first level of the game with giant in storage then clear out the whole stage Go to the beginning dash jump then right when you land jump again now he will do a sky shuffle then right when you land jump again he'll do a sky flip then when you land jump again he may or may not do the mystery sky 360!

Here is everythang I know you need A action reaplay DS if you don't have one get one NOW!!!!!!!!!!! when you have one use the size modifier code to make him gigntic then use the be luigi code after that go to the last level and defeat bowser and his son any way you want then it will show princess peach kissing luigi's but I'm not lieing.2 for this one you will need a frend use your action reaplay then use the 99coin cheat go on mario VS luigi and verse your frend every time you get a coin a flying turtle will appear above your head!x)ok last of all for this one you don't need an action reaplay but you will need a frend go to mario vs luigi and battle your frend at the pipe place become mega mini mario and go all the way to the right or left side of the screen and try to jump between the two pipes into the gaps then you will be on top of the feld there will be many coins up there weel 8 the fun part is your frend will never find you or kill you or smush you if he gets a mega mushroom plus when you get all 8 coins up there an item will fall out of the sky and your frend will freak out you got to try all the thangs I told you please teel others and vote me thumb up.

This cheat gives you a special challenge.

On the map, pause the game and press L, R, L, R, X, X, Y, Y.

Go to world 1-1 , get giant mushroom at then destroyed everything you will get up to four up each round

In Secret Level 2-A, there is a secret exit to the level that will get you access to the warp cannon in World 2. Near the end of the level, there is one last spin jump platform you need to use to reach the final star coin. Instead of stopping once you get the last star coin, continue falling to the right and hit the jump button at the same time you land on the red turtle on the final platform. This will give you enough jump height to reach the platform with the pipe up above you in the little alcove. Go through the pipe and exit the level via the red flag.

5th Background Pattern Beat and Get all the star coins for the first 5 levels.
Special BG Patterns Beat the game once.
Unlimited Toad-House Items Clear Every Level, including lettered bonus levels.

When you get all the giant coin things go to the mushroom place where you can buy new backrounds(it's above the first levil after you defete the last boss)and where there was an out line there will be a new backround (you might have to buy all the mushroom houses first) it will cost 20 big coin things thats the last amount if you buy all the mushroom houses and collected all the big coins. buy it then when you go out wher the number of how many big coins you have normally is it will say all spent

The mushroom houses at the start of each world (the point with an arrow at the start) differ determining on the time you get on a stage.

If you get x11, x22, x33 on the timer, a Red Mushroom house appears, which generates items.
If you get x44, x55, x66 on the timer, a Green Mushroom house appears, which is a 1up minigame.
If you get x77, x88, x99 on the timer, a Orange Mushroom house appears, which lets you gain a Mega Mushroom into your inventory, thus overriding anything in it.

If you beat a level with a time left of x11, x22, x33, x44 etc you get fireworks and the original mario level completion song will play.

In some worlds, there are cannons you can access (usually through taking secret exits). When you enter the cannon area, there will be a large cannon in the area, and a world number written below it. If you want to warp, simply drop into the cannon and off you go! Here is a list of the known warp zones thus far:

World 5 Warp #1: Take the secret exit from the World 1 Tower.

World 5 Warp #2: Take the secret exit from Stage 2-A.

World 6 Warp: Take the secret exit from the World 3 Ghost House.

World 7 Warp: Take the secret exit from the World 4 Ghost House.

World 8 Warp: Take the secret exit from the World 5 Ghost House.

Im not here to tell you the obvious luigi thing (hold l+r while selecting file). im actually here to reveal something that i just noticed. if you beat the game and you have watched all of the credits at the end when it tells you to save look at the touch screen. it will say over and over again in the backround

Get a mega mushroom and when you get to the battle agenst bowser and bowser jr. use the mega mushroom and jump on bowser and bowser jr.

As you may know, jumping onto the flagpole at the stage's end will net you some points (up to 8000). In this game, if you somehow manage to jump high enough and land on the very top of the flagpole, you will automatically receive a 1-Up.

Anyway the glitch is if you go to world 8 last lvl the final castle you go to bowser adn baby bowser (koopa kid) and you use a mini mushroom if u do this you are able to walk through or as i say under baby bowser and bowser not a cheat if this doesnt work my me tell me exactly what u did and ill say what u did wrong

Go to world 6 level 1. play the game right to the end then u'll notice that lots of torpedos are behind and infront of you. When you hit the flagpole, they will give you points and, if there are enough of them, extra lives! Give it a go! It's the best level for it!
