Take your Dog for a walk. Draw the route so that you dont go through Any blue[?] boxes then your more likely to come across a prezzie on the floor If your dog walks past the present Pull its leads backwards untill it goes back to the present and it should bring it too you!
Once you see the present you must tap on it 2 bring it too your dogs attention.

You will need trainer points (tp) to unlock every breed.

this is how to get rare items:
(u must have a straw hat to do this cheat)

1. put the straw hat on the dog u want to walk.
2. go through as many ? mark boxes as u can.
3. u might get a VERY rare item by doing this.

from doing this cheat, i got the toy ? mark box and a peach kart. the ? mark box can be sold for $6.00 and the peach kart can be sold for $100.00. i got a peach kart and it is so cool!!! the controls are:

A: forward
B: back
D pad: acceleration

go to the store and buy dog trainer in the ds section.then put it in your GBA slot and put nintendogs in the small slot on the back og the silver cartidge.when it loads on you will figure out how to do it.you can get everything!it rocks,i bought it.

Ok, this is to get $3000 Mmm. Me and my friend both did it and it doesn't work more than once. What you do is when you have 300 or more trainer points you take your dog for a walk. Now go to the park come out and go to it again then go home. Then you must put the lucky collar on any dog and take it for another walk in half an hour. When you are on your walk you will find the money tree. Place it down in your house and the dog shall walk close to it. A cigar will apear and the dog will stick it thumb up and smoke the cigar. You will hear a howl and you wil lthen have tonnes of moneh

AT HOME: when your dogs are at home , leave the game on for 30mins - 1hr (without interacting with or touching the screen) one of ur dogs will leave the house to get A RARE PRESENT , so call it back to get the rare present , NOTE: this will not work if you close your ds or turn the power off ...

AT THE PARK: when your dog is at the park , leave the game on for 30mins - 1hr (without interacting with or touching the screen) your dog will dig up A RARE PRESENT , NOTE: this will not work if there are other dogs at the park ...

This is hilarious!!!! Once you get the Flower Waltz Box, wait till your pup sits down and stares at you as you turn the handle then, once it gets to a really exciting part in the song, your dog will stand up. Take a breif moment to stop moving the handle, then move it very slow. When it hits the next note, your dog will jump, and yelp. Then, it will walk off shyly, as if nothing happened. You will also (mrew) find the Flower Waltz song very familliar. It will be found on walks. Either in a Box (that's where I got mines (meow)) or on the ground. Thankies for your time. with pet supply you can buy stuff.

set your DS to year 2099 then when you start your game you will see them sleep.

kk i tried this and this is what u do:

step1:if you havnt already got 1 buy a comb any type
step2:comb 1 of your dogs
step3:put your ds on charge (dont turn off)
step4:put the brush on the dog
step5:close your ds and go away for a while

come to your ds and your trainer points will have gone up because it still counts as brushing your dog
