If you love nintendogs tell me if u have bred a dog and what type it was and what happens when u get a puppy. You can also say their names if you like!!!!

Yes they can.
1: Get 2 dogs, obviously girl and boy. Make sure they are the same breed, but they don't have to be the same color.
2: Make sure they're friendly to each other, no fights. Make sure they are bonding, like cuddling.
3: ONLY feed them milk and dry food, natural or regular, it doesn't matter, but only choose one.
4: This is sorta optional, but you can put a rose on the female and a lucky collar on the boy. I suggest you get them before you start breeding.
5: NO walking, competions, or bark mode. You can't take either dog, espeacially not the female.
6: I think it's best if you go on 1 hour per day, just to feed them and check how the female's doing. Make sure she's getting fatter.
Well, that's all I think. Um, yeahh.

They can't. These people are lying to you, and I can't imagine why. It isn't coded into the game, therefore it can never happen, unless you were to re-code the games. But given how long it took and how many people worked on the game, I think it's reasonable to assume no-one has done that.
