What? Your Nintendog doesn't have a feeding time?! Well, it should!!
If your Nintendog has a certain time when it should be fed, it makes it a LOT more fun to play with. Just do the following the get the best relationship from your greedy Nintendog!
NEVER feed it when it is full because it won't it anyway.
NEVER feed it when it is "normal" because it is fine as it is and will feel lazy and tired if you feed it.
ALWAYS feed your Nintendog if he/she is hungry or famished otherwise they may starve or think they are being neglected and run away.
**These rules also apply to drinking time too! (E.g. NEVER give them a drink if they are quenched or normal)***

If you are tired of waiting till your dog can go on a walk again No more of that here is a hint that is fast and easy!!!!
1. Go on a walk
2. Go through all the boxes you can get!
3. Go to the park before going home
4. At the park put on a different assessory.
5. Turn off your DS.
6. Turn it back on and you'll have the presents you went through and got and your dog is ready for another walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took me a long time to work this out and when I did, I felt like putting it on CheatsGuru Community! This is a secret to tell you which dogs are good for which contest. Lets get on with it.
Disc Competition:
A challenging contest, but you will still be able to conqueror it with patience. I would recommend you big dogs. You can also use a dog size between middle-big because they will do a lot of jumping. I recommend:
Labrador Retriever, Shih Tzu, Shetland Sheepdog, Miniature Schnauzer, Golden Retriever, Boxer, German Shepherd or Siberian Husky. Everyday before you enter a contest go to the park and play fetch with your tennis ball. Throw it as hard and far as you possibly can. This is a good warm up to get you dog's speed increased. Now to the main subject. If your dog is newly purchased, give it a disc which has different color to all of your other toys. If it is old, use the disc you last practiced with. Then throw the disc out weakly if its new, then when it gets used to it throw it a little farther. Increase the distance every time. Soon you'll be throwing it really far! Whenever your dog brings it back to you, pat it until it sparkles. Practice until it doesnt want to play anymore and you've succeeded! I think you already know this but, only practice in empty parks. After the contest, go to the park again. Of course, if your dog is on Expert Clas.s+, dont bother patting it in contests.
Agility Trials:
Pretty simple. I would suggest you perfectly middle dogs like:
Shiba Inu, Pug, Yorkshine Terrier, Cavalier, Miniature Schnauzer, Miniature Pinscher and Beagles.
Before contest go to the gym at least twice a day and focus on one hurdle and jump over it 9 times without misses. Then go to the double hurdles, poles, see-saws, tunnels and do the same thing. After that do the whole obstical course until a message comes up that says:
(E.G.) has had enough play today. Maybe it's time to get on with your walk.
Then of course go to the contest and be amazed by your dog!
Obedience Trials:
Five words: Hard, hard, hard and hard. Any dog will be perfect because it doesn't include physic. Check the rules of this contest before practicing. Use two days to learn the basic commands. Day one learn: Sit, Lie Down and Spin. Day two learn: Shake, Jump, Beg and Roll Over. Using day three I'll teach you some commands to really impress the judges. One: Stand Up.
Get your dog to beg and lift up its paw. Then quickly touch the training icon then say: stand up.
Two: Ballet.
You can practically call this whatever you want but I called it ballet because it spins around like what ballet dancers do. Get your dog to beg then say: Spin.

If you've trained your dog with one frizbee, for a long time, make sure you have toys that aren't the same color as the frizbee. The reason is that if you've trained it with a red frizbee and throw a red rubber bone in your house or in the park, just to relieve it's stress, it'll pick it up and give it to you. The other thing is that you have to keep training it with one frizbee, otherwise it'll just forget its training with the last frizbee. If you've trained it well it'll always bring the frizbee back.

This cheat works with every game if you buy a mew dog and take it for a waalk it will most likely get a jucie bottle or camara so if you have an older dog take it to as meny blue boxes as you can and you mite want to use your oldist dog. i hoped it helped

When you go for a walk, watch the upper screen. if you see the little dog icon stop while your dog on the bottom is still walking, then watch the bottom screen closely. if yoo see a present lying in the middle of the sidewalk, quickly spin your dog around. thell see the present and go pick it up. usually, its a flower, shuttle model, lucky collar, or some other good prize. **NOTE!: on the top screen, garbage piles will make your dog icon stop as well.

Get out a brush Wire brush or Rubber brush(Depending on your dog's coat) and leave the brush on the dog overnight(10 hours)Then in the morning you will have around 900
Trainer Points.

If you have 3 dogs they are hard to train because you can't train them all at once and when you start training one, the others always want to play so you can't train the dogs right. If you find the naptime record while going on a walk, go back home and play it until all the dogs fall asleep. Then, click home and click on the dog you want to train. Use the button in the middle to whistle to that dog and wake only it up. It should yawn and stretch and come right to you. Voila! Now you can train that dog without any interuptions! (At least until they wake up)

These are tough tricks. Make sure youre dog is in a good mood and knows all the basic tricks.

Flip into air from back - Tell your dog to lay down then jump as fast as possible don't pet the dog tell after the trick.

Backflip - Tell your dog to sit then jump right away.

Hand Stand - Tell your dog to lay down then beg.

Turring in a Circle While Begging - Tell your dog to beg then to chase it's tail (or spin.)

Dancing (Fidgiting on hind paws) - Tell your dog to beg then grap it's front paw help it so it's only on it's hind paws then let go.

Bunny Hop - Have your dog dance as I said above then tell it to jump.

Breack Dance - Tell Your dog to roll over then tell it to spin (or chase it's tail)

Remember when you are doing these tricks not to pet your dog during the series of tricks. Just don't do anything at all but the tricks. When the icon to teach a trick comes up tap it as fast as possible because it goes away fast.not all these tricks will work for you.

First go on a walk with a dog and go to the things. you might get a collar if your lucky. to increase the chance of getting a rare item like this, use the clover clock as yur clock. once you get the luck collar, put in on a dog while clover clock is used and take that dog on a walk and youll find cool stuff like wierd alien, mario kart and combat copter

Some people want to teach tricks to their dogs, but keep messing up. In order to teach a trick to your dog, you have to:

1. Speak clearly and loud enough
2. Make sure your dog isn't confused
3. Speak the same word in the same tone 5 times in a row without messing up.

Here is a secret to rack in a lot of trainer points! First plug in your DS charger into a socket and into your DS(I'm getting basic)! Then start to groom your pet, but don't move the brush just place it on your dog and leave it there! GO TO BED AND WAKE BACK UP AND YOU WILL HAVE A LOT OF TRAINER POINTS! Hope this helps!!! I mean it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you're one on one with one of your dogs, listen for a siren. Your dog will howl and you can press the trainer icon and it will learn howl.

This isnt any intense secret or anything, but its an interesting concept:
I used my sisters DS as well as mine.
I used hers and went for many walks using the park save cheat and tried to get as many expensive items.
Then I did bark mode, and got her dog to bring me all of the expensive gifts it found by doing bark mode repeatedly (you can only bring one item at a time)
then i sold those items at the second hand store and got money for them.
like i said, this is nothing top secret but its great if you have 2 DS's and 2 nintendogs in your family.

If you want your dog to find better stuff on walks try this: when you are at home check if your dog's health is full.Your dog should be beautiful,full and quenched.If not feed your dog,water it and wash it.When your dog's health is full pet your dog till it sparkles once then go out for a walk go through as many ? marks you can then your dog should find more presents than friends and it will find presents instead of rubbish.And when you find a present it will most likely be something rare like the helicopter and the weird alien.

Here's how to be able to walk you dog without having to wait a half hour and also get hordes of items. For this trick you need: At least 2 accessory items -Draw your walk path to any park and back passing as many "" areas as you can. -Start your walk, hitting the "" areas and getting items. -Once you make it to the park, change the accessory that your dog is wearing. The game will auto save. -Now after the save is complete, shutdown your DS. Turn it back on and you will have all items that you collected and you will also be able to take your dog for another walk.

When you use a balloon before you click it to throw it blow into the microphone on your DS and you will blow it up! Then throw it!!
NOTE: Throw it QUICKLY after you blow it up, the air comes out if you dont hurry!!

Teach your dog to sit and jump. while it is sitting, tell it to jump. your dog should do a back flip.

Okay go out for a walk then go through as many "?" as you can.
When you meet another dog leave it on e.g Erik has some stern words for you and leave it like that over night. (Screen Open and Charging)And don't worry the screen will go black after a while. Every 10 minutes you will gain 100 trainer points!
I left it on for 3 days and completed the game!

For more types of dogs, find another person with Nintendogs (other version) then both go to bark mode, you can get new types of dogs from the other person!

To delete data, you have to hold a,b,y,x,l,and r in the very beginning while the game loads. It will ask if you want to delete data, and yes that means losing everything. So just touch yes and you can start everything over.

I got a combat copter, and every dog that I have tried to get to play with it just barks and growls at it. None of my dogs like it at all. Sell it, it's worth $300.

When you and your dog are on a walk and there is a blue spot that means that you or someone else's dog pee'd on poop'd, when you run over the question mark, look on the top screen. If it's a dog, the spot will be flashing.

If you want to be succesful in nintendogs follow these steps.....
HOME
.1)Keep saying your pets name even after your done with naming it, it will help the dog be more obiedient and loyal.
.2)Do not hit your dog,that gets it mad, and as your game gets older you will be sorry that you did that.
.3)*for users with MARIO KART!!!!* If you have a mario cart be extra carfull not to crash into your pets...again you wouldn't want to make him and/or her mad!
OUTSIDE
.1) Try your hardest to give your pup 2 walks a day!!!(*MORE IF POSSIBLE*) I know nintendogs says only one walk but this will benefit your wealth, your dog, and trainer points.
.2) When your dog is able try taking him to a park with dogs in it (*will have dog icon on the park icon if there is*) this will help him and/or her make friends, social skills, and you will find it will even be friendly to you.
.3) THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!! DO NOT MAKE YOUR DOG RUN!!! ONLY JERK ITS LEASH WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO GET HIM and/or HER OUT OF THE GARBAGE!!!
TRAINING
.1) I suggest you train your dog for competitions in this order ***AGILITY AND OBIEDIENCE THEN DISC COMPETITIONS***
.2) This is a little trick to help your rep and wealth on nintendogs...BEFORE YOU GO TO A COMPETITOPM SAVE YOUR GAME!!! If you get a bad score fault ect. TUREN OFF THE SYSTEM AND TRY AGAIN!!! this will give you better trophies more money and more

When your out on a walk with one of your dogs try to find an iten called a jack russel book, then when you return to the house go to the kennel scroll through the dogs and eventally you will see a Jack russel dog!!!
