the game, Nintendogs, goes by your DS date an time system. So say you couldn't find your
Nintendogs game for like a month or so, then they would run away, just like in real life,
or they would be really hungry.

It's like in real life.
This is also why they are always hungry every day you go back to feed them.

I'm *Magic A* and if you left your REAL pets without food or water for a year, they would
either be DEAD or STARVING TO DEATH! HOW WOULD YOU FEAL IF YOU NEVER GOT FOOD OR WATER FOR
A YEAR??!! YOU'D PROBABLY BE DEAD!!!!

I think you should feed them both food and water and then you should take each and every
one of them on a loooooong walk. Trust me, they will feel a lot better.

If you try everything and it just doesn't seem to work, just reset your game by holding
down A+B+X+Y+R+L. You'll get new healthy dogs in your kennel (but you'll lose everything
you had before).

It's easy you just have to take care of them like giving them a bath, feeding them, giving
them water and taking them for walks. And if you don't take care of them they will
probably hate you and won't listen to you when your'e teaching them tricks. Your Nintendog
also may bite you though.

if you try to call them and they turn around and wont come to you, give them biscuts or
jerky treats. make sure to feed and water them, walk them, and play with them. it helps to
play the smilin' dog record, too, if you hav it.
