You have to make sure you say it clearly.
Sometimes you have to say it rrrreeeeaaaallll sssslllloooowwww......
Soon enough, the voice should match.

You need to say the name of your chosen dog in the same tone and speed, and obviously
voice.

If you keep changing the tone and speed etc, your puppy will get confused.
