Walkthrough - Nintendogs - Breeding Guide!Hi everyone.. I'm writing this out because I'm bored, and I want to see how many people get a puppy from this. Hope it helps! 1) Buy two dogs of the same breed, (ANY color), with similar personalities (Bigger dogs work best for breeding). The girl's personality should be "Laid-back", and "Full of love". The boy's should include "Friendly", and "Kind". 2) Keep just your two breeding dogs in your house for the whole time, with a space for a puppy. Be careful not to take any of them out for walks or competions, as this ruins the breeding cycle. 3) Don't give them toys that they may fight over (e.g, Discs, Pull-ropes, or cuddly toys), as you need to keep them together and happy if you want to breed. 4) You can bath them, brush them, give them plenty of attention (Especially the girl dog), play calm records such as 'Flower Waltz' and the 'Naptime Record'. This helps calm their mood and keep them happy. 5) You can tell if your Nintendog is pregnant, because if you watch closely, you'll see tiny kicking movements on her belly while brushing her. Remember that it may take from four days, all the way up to a month for her to become pregnant. Breeding doesn't usually work first try (Learnt this from experience), if you're a very impatient person then breeding probably isn't for you. 6) Whatever you do, DO NOT use action replay to shrink a dog. It can ruin your game and your dogs will be lost. 7) I have bred before with two labradors, and they've had a pretty little boy puppy I named Mika. I am currently breeding with a new pair, two German shepherds, Bonnie and Red. Bonnie is already showing signs of pregnancy! Warnings: Do NOT let your dogs fight. If they do, whistle and they'll come to you so you can calm them. Don't play the surprise record! It scares your dogs and you can lose LOADS of trainer points. Tips: Whatever others may say, you DON'T need 99,999 trainer points, however the more TP's you have, the better chance there is of breeding successfully. I suggest you don't try until you have around 40,000 points, but you can try at any time. |

Crap, breeding is impossible, and i'm telling you this so you don't end up wasting all your time trying to breed nintendogs when it will never happen.

Yes that would make a good pair :)
No, you don't have to keep your ds open.
It took me about 5 weeks for my lab puppy to be born. It can take anywhere between 2 days and 8 weeks for your dog to get pregnant, but as soon as you notice signs of pregnancy they should give birth in 4 days to 2 weeks time. The labs gave birth at 6 days and the german shepherds at a week and three days. Good luck :)
