How many trainer points do you need to unlock the Great Dane? I have the French Buldog version and about 5800 points so how many more do I need to unlock the Great Dane?

I know you can buy different types of lures. Does the type of lure you use help you win more competitions? I need to win the Nintendogs cup, and I am using a banana lure. Should I buy a pro lure (the bird one)?

my cat has never gotton me a present and is just a waste of space it doesnt play on the cat tower and i dont know what to do, do i have to get more trainer points with it or something to get a present?
