Ok i know how to beat every gym leader with every starter. there are key places to get
important pokemon and hms ill show you where to get these pokemon/hms. lets begin with:
Striaton City:(For all starters) ok before you even start the gym after you beat cheren at
the school go to the dreamyard. beat the 2 trainers then talk to the girl behind them.
she'll give you a "Pan". then go to the gym. beat the 2 trainers and heal your pokemon at
the center. use your starter on the gym leaders first pokemon, lillipup. then switch to
your "Pan". Dont worry about the lvls you will survive if you use the move that
corresponds to its type. (water gun, incinerate, vine whip)
Before you go on:
There is a pokemon on route 3 named Blitzle. catch him and teach him flame charge once he
lvls up for it. he will be very helpful.
ALSO...
Go into the cave and catch woobat. Hes a decent ally and will help later.
Nacrene city: (For tepig) lvl up your tepig so it evolves and learns arm thrust. get it at
lvl 23 and you can beat the gym singlehandedly.
then go catch a tympole and lvl him up. youll need him for your battle with the next gym.
Nacrene city: (For snivy and oshawott) go south of the gate to the forest,catch a
sawk/throh, and again lvl it up to lvl 23. then talk to the battle girl at the road
leading to pinwheel forest. She'll give you rock smash as a tm. you can then easily beat
the gym.
before you go on:
Train in pinwheel forest until your pokemon are at least lvl 25. your blitzle/woobat
should have evolved by now.
Castelia City:(For all starters) ok, now for your break. burgh should be a piece of
cake(hehe rhyme).but first (like the second you get there) go south on the first pier and
talk to the scientist. He will ask you what stone you want. choose the one that
corresponds to your "Pan". They evolve this way. evolve the "pan" if you want.you can
train at route 4 til your pokemon are lvl 26.at the gym use blitzle/pignite/simisear on
whirlipede and leavanny. use oshawott/panpour/tympole on dwebble.
