I forgot to add this but who has read rise of darkrai?In the beggining(spelling)Dialga like just Blasts palkia with roar of time and then palkia hides like a chicken in alamos(spelling)town.so DIALGA palkia plus palkia sucks.

2 way fight. Palkia vs. Dialga. Palkia uses Spacial Rend. Diagla takes 250 damage. Diagla uses Roar of Time. Palkia takes 550 damage. A strange light appears! Girantina flies by.

unlike groudonroar,i don't think palkia is retarded,but i kinda have to go dialga.sorry palkia fans .although i can't say that fully,because i haven't fought palkia yet.

All right this one is a battle that only the trainer can decide. me personally I would use both but My favorite is Dialga. Dialga has more powerful attacks and can learn Draco Meteor. Also Dialgas attack and deffence are stronger than Palkia however I would use them both in the same tag team.

I think Palkia is better. I will admit that Dialga looks really cool, and blue is my favorite color. But Palkia has a higher speed stat, less weaknesses, and spacial rend has a large chance of a critical hit. And there is another fact that you guys havn't mentioned, Palkia has a higher IQ level. Because Dialga has an IQ letter of I. And Palkia has an IQ letter of J. And the lower the letter, the smarter the pokemon. If you don't believe me, confirm it on Bulbapedia. Im not saying that Palkia would dominate in a fight, it could go either way. Because it depends on the pokemons trainer, move choices, stats, level, and personality.

dialga is way better because if it sent the world back in time it could stop palkias birth instant win

Palkia. Whereas Dialga has more resistances, Palkia has less weaknesses. Although Palika's only is weakness is dragon, most of powerful the dragon moves, such as roar of time and draco meteor are special moves. Palkia has a higher base stat of sp def than dialga AND... most of the powerful dragon moves have their bad points. Draco meteor weakens sp att so it wouldn't do much damage to Palkia after use AND roar of time needs a move to recharge. My palkia has 339 sp def and has NEVER been one-hit KOed by any move, let alone the crap recharge move: roar of time. And in saying this, i have always defeated Dialga in 2 moves. Palkia, if good, always wins vs Dialga!!!!

As well as a reference to the argument of which has better moves... it is definitely Palika. Even though Dialga has the incredible power (i admit) of 150 with the move roar of time, it needs a turn to recover. Whereas Palkia has a smaller 100 damage with roar of time, it can be used two times in a row, resulting in 200 damage vs Dialga's now so measly 150. What's more, with the help of items such as razor claw, there's a 50/50 chance that spacial rend will be a critical hit, so it could actually (spacial rend) have the maximum potential of 400 damage over two turns (which is likely) against the MAXIMUM of 300, and i said MAXIMUM, of dialga's... a whole 100 less.

Lastly, even though dialga has a higher def than palkia, palkia has a much higher sp def. and most powerful moves such as hyper beam, thunder, hydo pump, roar of time, spacial rend and fire blast etc are special, which means that palkia has a higher resistance to strong moves.......
I rest my CASE!!! PALKIA FTW !!!!!!
P.S. Palkia is faster... so it would always get the first powerful super effective move against Dialga. Seeing as Palkia specialises in sp att and dialga's weakness is sp def= PALKIA PWNAGE
