Pokemon Diamond Hints

Here are two glitches that happened to me in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
In Soloceon Town,I got on my Bike and rode up to the Rt above Soloceon.
I made my character spin while riding up.When I got to the place that
exits Soloceon.But then I was prevented from going there with some kind
of invisible wall blocking my way.It wasn't the very tall grass that prevented
grass.So I had to go to Veilstone City and go to the Rt.just to buy some MooMooMilk!

This glitch requires two copies of either pearl or diamond. Both players enter the underground. One places all of the desired traps to be duplicated. The other picks them up. Then the first player turns off the game without saving. Viola! Now both players have the traps!

Step 1: Go to GTS at Jublife City.
Step 2: Enter the GTS room. (The part where you connect to the wireless router, wifi connector, etc.)
Step 3: Deposit a pokemon you want to clone.
Step 4: Make a bogus deal for the wanted pokemon. (i.e. Level 100 Abra, either gender)
Step 5: Begin Depositing. (Look at the clock at the bottom right of the message. When it goes around 6-8.5 times, shut down your DS!)
Note: It is hard to find the exact timing to shut the DS down.
Step 6: Turn your game back on. (If it has a blue screen that says that your file has been corrupted, that mean's it's working.)
Step 7: Continue with the game. (You should appear across the lady)
Step 8: Log into Wifi again.
Step 9: Take your cloning pokemon back.
Step 10: Check to see if it worked.

Note: If you're going to do this glitch and think you've done it incorrectly, RESET your game or else you'll lose your saved data. This only works for D/P, not Platinum. This glitch also works for Shaymin, too. Also, this will take forever to read so don't read it if you don't wanna die of boredum. :P

Other crap: Sometimes trying this glitch freezes your game, just turn off your DS and try again. Sometimes you make a void, but can't get into it, so turn off again and try again. DO NOT DO THIS WHILE READING THIS. THERE MIGHT BE SOMETHING I SAID LATER YOU DIDN'T KNOW, READ THE WHOLE THING UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW. ALSO, the first one I'm talking about getting is Darkrai, so if you want to get Shaymin, read Step 2, then see below.

What to have (MUST HAVE):
A bicycle
Explorer Kit
Poketch Marking Map and/or Berry Map, Step Counter,
Pokeballs (I would recommend Ultras).
Pokemon with Fly or Dig (you must have Fly, actually, also this is for if your going for Shaymin)
Teleport
Escape Ropes

You do not have to have the Nat. Dex or 8 Badges. You can do this glitch as soon as you got everything you need. You have to have used the Explorer Kit AT LEAST once before using this glitch.

Tweaking is moving the pad too quick in order to make the game hard to keep up, making the DS glitch. Ok, go to Jubilife City. I would show you how to get into the void, but it's going to be too hard for me to explain, so watch this video to show you how you go and in which direction: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=LdRHx4ql9Dg

Step 2: Go 20 steps west, 10 steps north, 5 steps east, 3 steps south. After this, go to your menu then go to Pokedex, Pokemon, Bag, ID Card, or Option. Then exit. Press down. You should be in a void outside the inside of the (I think it's the TV Station or Poketch Company) Save. Rest your Step Counter. Go to the right side of the wall in the void, 1 step away and go up until you reach Jubilife. It'll say you are in Floaroma Meadow, Veilstone City, etc. This will take about 430 steps. When you reach Jubilife City, STOP. Go back to the first step you took in Jubilife City, and stay there. Register your explore kit (when you press Y you can use it without going to the Bag section). Use it. It should say "A communication error has occured. You will be returned to the title screen. Please press the A button." After you're sent back, go to your file. Use your bike, but don't register it. Reset your Step Counter. Start riding down. Head south until there's an invisible wall blocking your way. Go up 2 steps, head west until you reach Jubilife City. Half way into Jubilife, then south. There might be a wall, so try different spaces to get through. Then, get your Marking/Berry App and see where you are, you should be in the ocean near New/Fullmoon Island. Go west, Reset your counter app. Go west again for 63.500 steps. This should take 70 minutes. Yep, 1 hour and 10 minutes. If you want, get something heavy (not too heavy that it'll break your DS) and put it on the left directional button. That way, it'll just go on its own. (Or use tape to hold it down. :P) You will run into a wall. From there go up, west, up, west until you find a way to go past the wall. And keep moving west, you'll reach a place people call "Fake Sinnoh".

Step 3. DON'T GO ON YOUR MENU OR ELSE YOU WILL BE STUCK IN THE VOID FOREVER. Yay! You are in the ocean, near Shaymin's place. 5 steps above Shaymin's place, go west 760 steps, south 60 steps. All these I mean "about". You go faster to New Moon Island on the top than going from the bottom. Then you reach Fake Sinnoh. Find New Moon Island. Try not to save with the kit here. Head north. This take 65,000 steps. You look like your in the island, but the Jubilife music plays. Now, save with your kit (Y). You will be taken back to the menu, then go back to your file. Now you go to your Menu, and go to any section I mention in the last 30 minutes. You're in NewMoon Island. Now you can save. Go and battle Darkrai. Yeah, that's it. But if you were hoping to get Shaymin, continue reading.

From the part where I said to take out your bike in Jubilife void and in the first step in Jubilife, stay there in Jubilife void. Also, this is where you MUST HAVE Fly/Teleport. From there, reset Poketch Step Counter, and head east for about 870 steps. Then head north, 64,000 steps, you'll be a Fake Sinnoh below Sunnyshore. From there go to Sea Break Path. The graphics have been screwed up in Fake Sinnoh, so the path is white. Ride inside the white path until you arrive at a Jubilife area. Press Y to use the kit WITHOUT popping up the menu. When you reboot you should be in the real Seabreak Path. Pop up the menu to reload the graphics and head over to Shaymin.

Of course, this took forever so I might have some things wrong. If you think I have let me know.

Go to veilstone city and go to the meteorites while having deoxys in your party then talk to the meteorite. all i remember is the top meteorite is for speed form. please give me thumbs up

WARNING! This only works in the Japanese Version.

In Sunyshore City, near the Ribbon Lady's house, right next to the bridge, use the Explorer's Kit. Go underground, then head back up. Now get on your bike. Ride around.

Go to route 205 from the wind works and go up the bridge and throught the grass onto the mointain area and there should be a hiker. go only one step BEHIND him and he should get big eyes, then move another step and they will be normal, then another step and they are big!

Here's how to get an egg up for trade as a hatched Pokemon:
Step 1: Go into the GTS Station and go onto the deposit option.
Step 2: Take, for instance, an egg that came from your Jolteon and Ditto in the Daycare Centre, and deposit it.
Step 3: You can ask for any Pokemon.
Step 4: Exit, then, if you want, search around.
Step 5: When you look back at your Egg, it should say the type of Pokemon is, in this case, a Jolteon!

Helpful (maybe) Obvious Tips
Easy Training

This is for people who have beaten the Elite 4.

1.Beat the E4 again and again until you can do it with 1 lv 100 pokemon.You should have a lv 100 by the time you beat the E4 20 times.

2.Migrate 5 exp. shares.Recomended from R/S/E because it's easiest.You people who don't know how to migrate or how to get a exp. share in R/S/E stink!.

3.Choose 5 pokemons who you want to train.4.Equip the exp. shares.5.Beat the E4 until the 5 pokemons are lv. 60+.Then you can use 4 exp.shares and so on. When the 5 pokemons are lv.100, repeat the process.

Quick Berries
You can get lots of berries-just follow these steps!
Here are 2 places people give you uncommon berries

Berry master
Fly to Hearthome.Go through the west(left)entrance. You should see a house. That's the berry master's house.The berry master will give you 1 berry per day.The little girl will give you the berry searcher app and the woman will sell you mulch.The growth mulch is for impatient people and the gooey mulch is for people who don't get to play their game a lot(me).

The name tells you where to find her.
She will give you 1 berry per day.The berries she gives you affect how much damage the opponent does to you. Ex. Haban berry.If you equip to pokemon, and the foe does a dragon type move, it will be weakened.

You can also migrate berries.
When you only have 1 berry, plant it andwater it 6 times a day. That way, the plant will have more berries.My record is 12 berries.

If you don't want to wait until midnight or so to catch rotom, follow these simple steps:
1. go to the old chateau
2. go upstairs and enter the room with the T.V.
3. save and turn off your ds
4. turn your ds back on but DO NOT ENTER THE GAME!
5. set your ds clock to midnight (NOTE: the ds uses military time so midnight will be shown as 00:00)(look below for how to set and reset your ds clock)
6. turn your ds off then on.
7. enter the game and go up to the tv
8. press a and if it says that a pokemon might come out thump the tv and rotom should appear. if not, repeat steps 4-7 setting the ds clock one hour later until you get rotom. its at level 15 so be careful.

How to set your ds clock.

1. when you first turn on your game a menu should appear. if it goes directly to the game its probably in auto mode. in which case, to get to the menu you have to remove both the ds card and the gba cartlige then turn your game on
2. with your stylus, touch the button at the very bottom that looks like a mini ds.
3. on the resulting menu touch the second button from the left. a 3rd menu should appear.
4. on the 3rd menu select the rightmost button.
5. you will be then prompted to enterthe time when you are finished, press a and the entered time will be confermed.

You don't have to wait until midnight anyway,you just have to wait until it gets dark in the game.

EDIT::: This tip isn't quite right you do not need to wait till midnight to catch rotom in fact I caught him in the day time. Of coarse if this tip allows you to catch him before you get the national dex then I'm sorry to have bothered you.

will gain 2 speed ev's and 2 SP attack. (I'm going to get way detailed) YOu need around
four
EV's for your pokemon to gain 1 stat.

5)Difference between Ubers and legendaries

The ubers are, the rest are legenaries, just ubers are the strongest ones, while non-ubers
tend to have the stats, or close to of which normal pokemon have.

THere are a lot of fake cheats and hints going around, and being given thumbs up, and have

If your pokemon is asleep and you are about to attack,say "wake up"
And if your pokemon is confused,say "snap"
if you are trying to catch a pokrmon,say "gotcha"

Nintendo power confirmed these were false as well as Nintendo

the fastest way to hatch an egg is to put it in your party like this

1,Fire pokemon 2,any pokemon
3,egg 4,fire pokemon
5,fire pokemon 6,any pokemon

This is also false, pokemon with flame body ablility increases the hatching tim, but not
all fire pokemon.

I also happened to come across this cheat

You will need the following:

An Alakazam with Skill Swap and Role Play.
A Shedninja with U-turn. (It doesn't have to have U-turn, but it will help.)
A Spiritomb or Sableye. (Preferably Spiritomb.)
Go into a double battle with Alakazam and Shedninja, make sure your Alakazam is the
fastest pokemon. Have Alakazam use Role Play on your own Shedninja, it will copy
Shedninja's Wonder Guard. Then have Shedninja use U-turn. Get Spiritomb to come in battle
to take Shedninja's place. Have Alakazam use Skill Swap on Spiritomb and it will have
Wonder Guard. It's became a loop-hole!
Wonder Guard- An ability that makes the pokemon only take damage from super-effective
hits.
Spiritomb- A pokemon that has high defense stats., and doesn't have any Super effective
weaknesses.
Congratulations! If you have followed each step carefully and survived long enough to pull
off this strategy, you should have an INVINCIBLE Spiritomb that won't take any hits!
Battles will be easy if you do this right.

The fact is role play cannot copy WOnder guard.

Sometimes when you go to the GTS (global trade center) when you search a pokemon in rare
occasions it will not bethe pokemon you searched for. EX.You seach for palkia and you see
a lucario with the name of palkia.

This was proved false is is not a glitch, but hackers.

Buy pokemon leafgreen and firered, then you complete the game by catching and owning all
pokemon then you trade mew from firered and trade mewtwo from leafgreen (doesn't matter
which one you trade from which game) while each of them is holding a special item called
metal coat then you get mewthree on one of the games (usally leafgreen) and you can
migrate it.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this is false.

7) world map

This only works underground and u are with a firend

Either you and your friend go down in the same spot or you or your friend stand outside either one of your bases when you or your friend exits their or your base your friend will be stadng on top of you or you on top of your friend

Really weird, but i stuck a ponyta and a lucario in the daycare center together and they laid an egg! Then two seconds later, they laid another one! It was totally weird! They just kept laying eggs. they were riolus, but i don't get how the game could glitch a riolu from a ponyta and lucario. very strange

Select the pokemon that you want to clone. Give it any items needed too. Put it in any of your boxes. Now, go to the GTS. Talk to the lady and enter. Put up a pokemon for trade (NOTE: Try this with a low-level pokemon who doesn't have an important item first). When it takes you to the loading screen, watch the little clock on the bottom-right part of the screen. Count how many times it hits the top, and note where it was when the pokemon was uploaded. Go back to the summary screen, and take out the pokemon. Once again, watch the clock. Most people's clock stops moving between 7.5 and 8 rotations.

Now, put the pokemon that you want to duplicate up for trade. Right before the clock gets to the interval where it changes, turn off the DS. Turn it back on, and load the game. You will probably get the error screen, but don't worry. Continue to load the game, and go back to the GTS. If you performed the glitch correctly, the pokemon will still be up for trade. Take it back, and leave. Now, go to the PC to the left of the counter. Load it up, and check your boxes. If you performed the glitch right, you will have duplicates of the pokemon (and possibly item) that you tried to clone.

If you didn't get it, try, try again. It took me about 13 times to get it. Just keep trying.

NOTE: This glitch is very risky. Several GameFAQs members have reported it to screw up their game. Several other members reported their pokemon being traded before they could get back to it. Though the number is very small (about 3/100 people), it still is a risk. Don't say you haven't been warned. To prevent the second problem from happening, request an evolved pokemon that is level 9 or lower (eg. Infernape).

This will do when u use a game play downloadedto ur memori crd. activate the run anywhere chit then go inside the chambers. just enter each room. after continouosly doing this, u willonly have to fite the champ

First get an eevee by getting the national pokedex or trading with someone who does. put
in the daycare with a bidoof and take the eggs. hatch them and use a thunderstone=jolteon,
water stone=vaporeon, and firestone=flareon on them. on one eevee take it to eterna forest
and find the moss covered rock (looks like rock smash) and raise one level=Leafeon. take
another to snowpoint city and go down the route then go back up and search for the frozen
rock(like rock smash)raise one level=Glaceon, on other two raise one's happiness during
day(espeon) one at night(umbreon) now u have all eevee evolutions!
Ps. u can find the evolution rocks underground w/ the explorer kit
Giratina is in a place called spring path located in between veilstone and the hotel. i
am warning you there are level 50-60 pokemon in there. you will need a pokemon that can
use defog and rocksmash. Giratina is not easy to catch so bring ultra balls and pokeballs
cause i caught with a regular pokeball. also i am looking for a spritomb if anyone has one
go to the GTS and trade with ken. i offer an unown! ITS THE LETTER D. WELL DA FLIRT OVER
AND OUT!

This legendary can be male or female but cannot breed. Get your national dex and go to the
island in the north and east. When you get to Stark Mountain, you must team up with
someone to go through the place. The trainer will take the item and depart. Head back to
the Survival Area, and your "partner" will be inside a house. Talk to her and she'll
leave.

You have only one chance to capture Heatran, so save the game first. Return to the
mountain, and Heatran will be waiting. The pokemon is at level 70. Heatran can learn the
following
You can talk to the sailor in Canalave city and ask him to take you to Iron Island. Go
into the cave and find PKMN trainer Riley. He will come with you through the dungeon. Get
tho the end, battle the Galactic Grunts and talk to Riley. He will thank you and ask if
you want an egg that he has. Be sure to have an empty slot in your party so you can take
the egg. Hatch the egg, and out comes Riolu, the Basic form of Lucario. Riolu evolves if
it is maxed-out happy, so level doesn't affect whether it evolves or not.

Before I start, this guide does not say the exact direction to go in, e.g. "Go up from
here, then two rooms left". It just points you in the general direction. Also, bring 10
Dusk Balls, 10 Timer Balls, and about 50 Ultra Ballls.

After banishing Team Galactic from their HQ, setting the 3 Lake Pokemon free and battling
Cyrus, and another Commander, head west from Hearthome City into Mt. Coronet. Make sure
you have Rock Smash, Strength, Surf, Rock Climb, and Defog. Navigate through this room up
the stairs, and continue on fighting grunts. Don't skip any, as the 3 hard battles you
will encounter on the top require your pokemon to be at least at level 45 for an easy
battle. Anyways, once you're outside in the snow, keep on using rock climb, getting
around, and try to capture a Bronzong. They're pretty good, but they're not required. So,
keep going until you find a slightly hidden cave. BEWARE: IT IS QUITE HARD TO FIND. Also,
if you find yourself in a room where there is a grunt blocking an opening in the center,
saying that he has no pokemon, you're headed the wrong way! Go back outside! Once you keep
mauling grunts and continuing through caves, you'll end up in a place called Spear Pillar.
You'll fight a 2 on 2 battle with your Rival and Commander Mars & Jupiter. He'll heal your
pokemon, then you'll battle Cyrus. He's actually (gasp) sort of hard. After sending him
away to lick his wounds, you'll be standing in front of an angry Dialga. SAVE BEFORE
MOVING! Now that you've saved, challenge Dialga and whittle it down to but a sliver of HP.
Paralyzing it or putting it to sleep helps. Keep on chucking Ultra and Dusk Balls, and
after about 25 turns, you can start considering Timer Balls. It only took me one ball: a
Dusk Ball, but it's a lot harder for most. Once you've obtained the mighty Dialga, you
will be escorted south, but instead of exiting, go up north past where Dialga was
standing. Pick up the Orb, and give it to Dialga. Use an Escape Rope once you exit Spear
Pillar, and you have gained access to Sunyshore! YAY! Also, I seem to have luck with
legendaries...in Fire Red, I accidentally (instead of attacking) threw a Poke Ball at
Zapdos(no, not an ultra or great ball, a POKE BALL) when it still had full HP and no
status problems. Guess what? I caught it...that really freaked me out. But, still, it was
cool! Well, hope I helped!

This glitch is the hardest but useful if you are lucky.Go to Solaceon Town and get the Mach bike and go to the very tip of the town. Now the hard part, run down the town while rapidly pressing the left and right while going foward. If done correctly, you will be spinning and then your game may crash. Or there will be a white void and it will be walkable. You can now go every where(even in the trees and the sea)and catch shaymin and darkrai or maybe giratina. Please rate thumbs up and not down!

Sometimes when you go to the GTS (global trade center) when you search a pokemon in rare occasions it will not bethe pokemon you searched for. EX.You seach for palkia and you see a lucario with the name of palkia.

This is a really cool glitch my cousin and I discovered. Ok, to do this, you must have An action replay. Now select the walk on anything cheat, then load your file. Now register the town map. Now head to the right and run through trees untill you reach the black area, known as the mystery zone. Now take out your town map with select (note: you can not acess your bag in the mystery zone, and if you go to far youll end up in places like floaroma and turnback cave. Now close your map and head back to the town you were in. welcome to glitch city pixelated water, star shaped bushes, Boxs as buildings, retro rock walls, and even the rocks are diffrent. Oh and if you acess the mystery zone from inside a building, it turns completely white. Try it in the pokemart or pokemont center, it looks like a postal service. Note and there is this really weird patern on the pathways that relate to missingno, oh and if you did it right the statue of Dialga/Palkia in entrana city is now a missingno statue.

Turn on the walk anywhere/run anywhere code.
Go to Newmoon island.
Go to the pond where darkrai usually sits until you catch it.
Go up and on to the ledge. You will be upside-down.

You need Action Replay for this glitch.

turn on run/walk anywere code
go to snowpoint after the credits
walk through the sailor onto the boat
talk to him u should be facing up and still on the boat
he says do you want to leave say yes
you will get on the boat but not leave

walk up to get off the boat you will be invisible and the captain will b 2 in te same usual spot.

You must have Action Replay to do this cheat.

Go to Canalave city. Have the walk/run anywhere code on. Walk through the sailor and onto the ship. Turn around and tell him to leave. He will get on the boat and you will leave to your destination, leaving your body back in Canalave city.

If you have the walk through walls cheat then go to hearthome and go into the contest building Save first because this will never bring you back to the building go through the link contest door and you'll start spinning through pure blackness! Another glitch is if you go somewhere like through a route without using the white building then the next town you go to will have no houses and be white!

To become invisible you need to have
1) a nintendo ds
2) an action replay with the code that lets you walk through anything
3) pokemon diamond or pearl
and how to do it
1) go to snowpoint city
2) talk to the sailer near the ship
but be on the ship when you ask him(which isnt normaly possible but using that code makes it work)
3)when he asks you if you want to sail to the battle zone say yes
4)hold the up button then you should be invisible!!!!!! but you will still see footprints. ENJOY

When you have the national dex go to new moon island where cressailia is and walk across the water to the right (east) you will arive at newmoon island make sure you have a good pokeball with you like a master ball
