The key makes u able to get rotoms alternate forms and the diamond/pearl games isnt
programed to find the key on mystery gift.

to make it short: no, it doesnt work for diamond/pearl. i think u can trade rotom over
to diamond/pearl after it transformed.

They have a specific move.

you can only get it in platinum.NOT DIAMOND!

there is no way to get the other rotoms on diamond if you trade it it will change back
into its original form if you want a wash,fan,heat or freez rotom youll have to go buy
platinum and (if they still have the boxes) you will also get the figur and a cool case.(i
got the box but traded the case to my friend for a bigger and beter case)oh and if you
trade it to diamond with the move then it will eather be eraced or it you will have one
specal rotom who knows overheat,leafstorm,blizard or hidropump.

i think it is ****** for the key to be just for platinum cuz Pokemon D/P is the same
storyline but the the places and towns look differnt. :\
