Part 1-Secrets-akdic

1. If you use surf on the water near the daycare, then go down really far, then you will find a path surrounded by a fence. Take it, and there are three ace trainers. The first two will challenge you to a double battle, and then the last, which is stronger, will then challenge you to a single battle. I forgot their pokemon, but the last one has a Shellder and Cloyster.

2. There are policemen before and after Goldenrod, and if you talk to them at night they will battle you. The one before Goldenrod, near the daycare, has a Growlithe. The one right by the entrance to the National Park and Pokeathlon Dome has two.

3. This one is a bit more obvious, most of you will probably know it, but there is a lady every Sunday on the fifth floor of the Department Store. She will give you a tm, which I think is either Return or Frustration, depending on if your pokemon likes you or not. The more your pokemon likes you, the more damage Return does, and the less it likes you, the more damage Frustration does. Both are Normal type moves.

4. There are maps on the wall of every Pokemon Center, so you can see the map even before you get the map card. They are on the right side of the counter, press a while facing the blue-green thing. I don't think too many people know this.

5. If you surf on the ocean right of Cherrygrove City, and you will find an island. The guy on it will say he found something but doesn't need it, and he will give you a Mystic Water, which powers up water type moves. I would think most people see this guy when they first go there, but not many come back to talk to him.

6. If you get School Kid Alan's number, then if you get far enough away from him call him and he'll say he got better and ask you to come down for a battle. Every time you get far enough he will ask to battle once you call. I think you can battle as many times as you want. By the way, he is on Route 36. Just noticed that only Wednesday.

7. If you go to Olivine City, you will notice that left of the house you can trade for a Voltorb, there is a space you can walk in. Go to the end of it and there will be a rock. Press a and you will get an item.

Fifth star and color Black	Complete the National Pokedex.You need to Capture all 493 Pokemon other then Mew,Celebi,Jirachi,Deoxys,Phione,Manaphy,Darkrai,Shaymin, and Arceus,That gives you a total of $84 in your Pokedex.

1. Go to Violet Town
2. Go to the poke center
3. Go up the left stairs
4. Talk to the person closest to the stairs or in other words the only person on the second floor apart from staff.
5. Tell him what trainer you like best

The trainer you said you liked best will be you in the union room.

want to get through the ruins of alph?i know how!

there should be a tiny house filled with 3 scientists. go up north a little and you will see this cave,which isn't a cave,it just has a puzzle. you should go up and press A. you must figure out the puzzle.

the 1st puzzle is a kabuto. once you have solved the puzzle,you will see a man and writing on the floor saying " OUR CLAN ENGRAVED WORDS ON THIS PLACE" in unown letters. the man will give you the Unown note,which is a key item for unowns.

you are now free to capture unowns! but,you will need to complete more puzzles to get more unowns.

the 2nd puzzle is aerodactal. it is found by surfing. you will have to come back once you get HM surf. Once you get surf,you can surf it. complete that,then you will see more writing saying " OUR CLAN CREATED POKEMON STATUE OUTSIDE" again,in unown letters.

the 3rd puzzle is omanyte. you must go through Union cave to get there. you must have the HM strength to get through union cave. complete that, the more writing! it will say " THEY POSSES POWER TO SENSE WITH MIND AND REJECT OUTSIDE."

the final puzzle is none other than ho-oh! again,you must go through union cave. complete that puzzle. you now have access to all the unowns!

The Shiny Leaf

The Shiny Leaf is a very rare item that your Pokmon can find. This item is not a standard item or accessory and is incredibly unique in that your Pokmon is seen with it only on it's status screen, as demonstrated in this picture. However, finding it and its use are very complicated matters.


Finding the Shiny Leaf

The Shiny Leaf is discovered by talking to your partner Pokmon while in a bit of grass. However, the areas in which your Pokmon can find the Shiny Leaf are few and far between. The location depends solely upon your Pokmon's nature and it can be one of several areas so you'll need to keep checking your Pokmon. It's not guaranteed that you shall find it even if you're in the right area. If you have found it, your Pokmon will start with an Exclamation Mark, do a dance swaying from right to left and then have a green musical note over its head. Your character then immediatelly attaches the Shiny Leaf to the Pokmon. As you get more Shiny Leaves, the likelihood of your Pokmon finding one quickly decreases

The Reward

So, now you have a Shiny Leaf, what do you do The answer is simple. If you go see Lyra/Ethan in New Bark Town, she will tell you about the Shiny Leaves and state that she'd like to see you obtain 5 of them. Come back with 5 on one Pokmon, and she will reward you with a Star for your Trainer Card and convert the 5 leaves into a leaf crown for...

The GB Sounds allows you to listen to certain music in the game in a whole different way. It lets you listen to what I believe what the music in the area would be like in Gold, Silver, and Crystal.

GB Sounds	Go inside the Celadon Condominiums in Celadon City. Take the elevator on the first floor and pick the option to go to 3F. Talk to the man in front of the globe and he will give you the GB Sounds.

Unlockable:	How
Kyogre	Defeat Red, Obtain Kanto starters from Prof.Oak. Goto Mr.Pokemon, he will give you Blue Orb. Next you need to head to a cave in Route 47, The Embedded Tower. Kyogre will be in the middle of the Cave.
Groudon	Defeat Red, Obtain Kanto starters from Prof.Oak. Goto Mr.Pokemon, he will give you Red Orb. Next you need to head to a cave in Route 47, The Embedded Tower. Groudon will be in the middle of the Cave.
RayQuaza	You must Have the Jade Orb. To obtain you, need Both Kyogre and Groudon, from Heartgold and Soulsilver (Not Migrated from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald). To do this you must obtain Kyogre/Groudon from a trade with another person with HG/SS. Next show your Kyogre and Groudon to Prof.Oak. He will give you the Jade Orb. Goto back to the cave you encountered Kyogre/Groudon and Rayquaza will be there.

Red, the strongest trainer in the Kanto region, is quite hard to beat. His level 80's team is tough, but if I can beat him with my level 50's team, anyone can.

After you defeat Red, the credits will roll. And, a few things will be unlocked.

One Kanto Starter	Go to Professor Oak, and he'll give you your choice of one.
One Hoenn Starter	Go to Silph Co, and find Steven Stone towards the right-hand side of the room. The stones he offers you represent each Hoenn starter, to their respective color.
Kyogre (HG) Groudon (SS)	Embedded Tower in Route 47 will house the respective legend
Mewtwo	Cerulean Cave

These are all 16 Gym Leaders rematch rosters. On the left, in this order, are the Leader, where to find them when they're not in their gyms, when they are gone, and when to call them for a rematch. One the left will be their party.

P.S.-For Chuck, he won't leave his gym, but on the day I listed, speak to his wife who's outside of the Gym.

P.S.S.-For Green, he won't leave the gym, so talk to his sister in Pallet Town.

Eevee has several evolutions in this game. In total, 5 are achievable in this game, but there are two others that you must trade from Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum. They are Glacon and Leafeon.

Like the Johto gym leaders, you have to acquire their number and then schedule for a rematch. This counts as the same quality for the Kanto gym leaders.

Misty - Found on Route 25 every Friday night, accepts rematches on Wednesday mornings

Lt. Surge - Found outside the Power Plant everyday; at 9-11am, accepts rematches on Friday mornings

Erika - Found near the Celadon City Fountain on Sunday in the afternoon, accepts rematches on Sunday mornings

Janine (Koga's dad, which is part of the Elite Four) - Found outside the Victory Road Reception Gate every evening, accepts rematches on Mondays, daytime

Sabrina - Found near the S.S. Aqua every Friday night, accepts rematches on Sunday afternoons

Blaine - Found outside the Cinnabar Island Pokmon Center on Tuesday mornings - accepts rematches on Tuesday afternoons

Green - Show a Pokmon that has maxed happiness to Daisy Oak (his sister), after that Pokmon was massaged at least 5 times, accepts rematches on Saturday Nights

Snorlax is pretty easy to get once you have what you need. First, after you give the machine part to the Power Plant, make your way towards Lavender Town, and go into the Radio Tower. Once you're inside, go all the way to the right and talk to the man in the broadcast room. He'll upgrade your PokeGear. Go by the Snorlax, go to the PokeGear's radio, and move the dot towards the top. That will be where the PokeFlute song will play. Interact with the Snorlax, and it'll wake up in anger. Then it will challenge you to a battle.

What you need:
Masterball x 1
revives x 10 or more
Full Restores x 10 or more

Step 1: Go in Cerulean Cave and catch Mewtwo with your Masterball.

Step 2: Train it a couple of levels

Step 3: Teach it these exact moves: Rock Slide, ThunderBolt, Strength and Psychic

Now make your way up to Red but don't fight wild Pokemon with Mewtwo unless you have enough ethers

once you reach Red, save and fight him. On his Pikachu use Psychic and that should take him out or in a few more hits.

For his Blastoise, use ThunderBolt same for his Lapras.

For his Venusaur use Psychic.

for his Charizard use Rock Slide

for his Snorlax, use basically anything

Remember! if Mewtwo faints use your revive and if your pokemon survives a hit use a full restore on him. THEN if your pokemon survives for a 3rd turn just attack you've got nothing else to do.

I beat Red with a level 73 Mewtwo and a little help from level 50s

Yes. FREE POKEMON! Make sure you have room in your party to pick up these Pokemon.

Kenya:

This isn't technically a gift Pokemon but you could still keep it for yourself. If you go to the gate north of Goldenrod City, a man in red clothes will ask you to bring his Spearow with mail attached to it to a friend on Route 31. His friend is one of the trainers you probably battled already. If you bring the Pokemon to the friend, you will give the Pokemon to the friend and get a TM in return.

When you went to Ecruteak City, you bumped into a guy named Bill [No, not Bill Gates] in the Pokemon Center. Bill was apparently the one who came up with the Pokemon Storage system with his friends. He went back home after he met you. To get a Pokemon from him, go to Goldenrod City. Search for him in one of the houses [To the West] and talk to him. He'll offer you an Eevee. Accept and it is all yours.

Shuckie:

In one of the South-West houses of Cianwood City, a guy named Kirk is worried about his Pokemon. He is afraid that somebody will steal his Shuckle. Although you are a complete stranger, he'll offer you to look after it. It holds a Berry Juice.

Tyrogue:

In Mt.Mortar, the KArate King is training with his Pokemon. When you talk to him, he will battle with you. He has Fighting Pokemon [I believe Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, & Hitmonchop] and after you beat him, he will give you a Tyrogue.

Dratini:

After you have answered the questions at the Dragon's Den, you should go back near the entrance, but Clair is in the way. She will give you a TM and run off. Go back to the Elders and talk to the one who asked the questions. Depending on how "good" you answered his questions, he will give you a Dratini with a special move, Extreme Speed. If you didn't, then you get a basic Dratini.

OK im gonna tell you were all the doors and what they say. OK first off is the Kabuto puzzle you first solve and then go to the unknown words (on wall) it says ESCAPE and then you use an escape rope and the door will open and the second door is a areodactyle (acssesable by surfing) and the door says light and then you use flash and the door will open and the third door is a HO-OH to get to the ho-oh puzzleyou need to go through the union cave and go down the stairs and surf across and whed you see a fork in the road you take the upper path (downer path is the omynite puzzle) and when you open the ho-oh puzzle the unknown words say ho-oh you need ho-oh in your pokemon crew. and finnaly the omynite puzzle is in the union cave except you take the down path and the words on the wall say water and you need a water wtone to get by and thats it really.

Oh and Lance before he became part of the elite 4 the only pokemon he had was a fossil (aerodactyl) he had two eggs (driatini's) A magicarp and a new hatched driatini then when lost to red he got a baby Charmander from red and his champion leader journey began

Each of them are in The Kanto Region and are Lvl 50
It would be best to bring a team with all HMs for Articuno and Moltress

[Stationary Legendary Pokemon Tips]

-As any other Pokemon, lower the Legendary's HP until it turns red. The lower the HP, the better chance you're going to catch the legendary.

~TM 54, False Swipe, will always leave 1 HP for the opponent [If the move would KO the opponent, it will always leave 1 HP instead.] You can buy the TM at the Goldenrod Department Store.

-Use Pokeballs to your advantage. If it is night time when you are battling the legendary, use Dusk Balls. If there has been many turns in the battle already, use a Time Ball to try to capture the Pokemon. A good Pokeball that can be used wherever is the Ultra Ball. [Most of the time it is]

-Inflict status problems upon the legendary. Poison Power, Hypnosis, Thunder Wave, and Toxic are a few of these. Poisoning or burning a Pokemon should help you catch it, but it isn't always a good idea since they damage the Pokemon every turn. You may KO it.

-Try to bring strong Pokemon to give you time to try to catch the legendary. Also, bring Pokemon that is about the same level as the legendary. This will help you bring down the legendary's HP if you somehow can't afford to use False Swipe on it.

-Bring a lot of Potions, Revives, and Pokeballs. You don't know how long it will take to catch the legendary.

-Save before you battle the legendary.

[Running Legendary Pokemon Tips]

-Certain Pokemon have abilities that prevent the Pokemon from running away. Crobat can learn Mean Look while Wobbufet has the ability Shadow Tag that prevents a Pokemon from running away.

After you do that, you should follow the rest of the tips to catch the Running "Legendary"
