Secret - Notched Ear Pichu & Pikachu coloured Pichu

Some time next year, a Pikachu coloured Pichu will be distributed to Pokemon Platinum. When you trade it over to HG & SS, a special part in the story will happen. Take the Pikachu coloured Pichu to Celebi's Shrine. There you will meet up with a Notched Ear Pichu. It will join your party. It is a parrently only a giirl and can not evolve, therefore it can't be traded to any other of the DS Pokemon games. I'm not sure this is exactly how it happens, but I'm pretty sure. Go to

By the way this also works for Soul Silver, I just didn't want to write it out! Same with the Arceus Event. Both the Pichu and the Arceus will be available at Toys R Us's when the movie comes out in the US on DVD. They are available in Pearl, Diamond, and Platinum.
