Use a rock type that knows earthquake & rock slide to take out pikachu & charizard & use
ampharos with thunder or thunder bolt to take out gyarados, lapras & blastoise, use a fire
type to take out venusaur & use a fighting type to take out snorlax. Raise them all to a
high level as red's pokemon's levels range from level 80-88 so raise your team to at least
level 90 & bring max revives & full restores just incase

Instead of taking so much time to raise such a wide variety, use an alakazam lvl 100 with
psychic. That takes out pikachu and venasaur. Also, raise a palkia to about lvl 80 and
send it over to hg or ss and have it know draco meteor and surf. Draco meteor for snorlax
and surf for charizard. Though, a little draco meteor wouldn't hurt for blastoise. Also,
psychic for gyarados and twice for lapras ( beware he will probably use a full restore for
snorlax and lapras, so be prepared). Max revives and full restores are often crucial
