Chapter 1: A Storm at Sea

A Pokemon wandering along the beach (your partner) finds a lone Pokemon (you, the hero)
collapsed on the shore. You seem to have fainted. The partner talks to you, and you reveal
that you used to be a human. Just then, Koffing and Zubat appear from behind your partner
and nab its precious Relic Fragment before absconding. You and your partner head for Beach
Cave in hopes of getting it back.



Chapter 2: The New Guild Recruits

You and your partner apply to become part of Wigglytuff's Guild. It accepts you, so you
and your partner form an Exploration Team. Chatot, Wigglytuff's right-hand Pokemon, gives
you your first job. Retrieving Spoink's purloined head pearl. You and your partner head
for the Drenched Bluff in search of the pearl. 



Chapter 3: The Scream

Moseying around Treasure Town, you touch an Apple that Azurill dropped, when suddenly you
get a vision of the little Pokemon crying for help. Then, when you and Drowzee bump
shoulders in passing, you get another vision, this time of Drowzee threatening Azurill.
You puzzle over this while returning to the Guild, and when you arrive, you see Drowzee's
picture on the Outlaw Bulletin Board! Azurill's in trouble. Hurry to Mt.Bristle!



Chapter 4: The Gatekeepers

Loudred summons you and your partner to come help with the day's work. Loudred brings you
over to Diglett so you can go guard duty. You have to identify visiting Pokemon by the
shapers of their feet and relay that to Loudred. You word hard in hopes of winning a
prize. After your shift, it's back to exploring as usual.



Chapter 5: The First Official Exploration

Chatot sends you and your partner to investigate the waterfall east of Treasure Town. You
try to approach, but the current is so strong you can't get close. At the moment, you get
a vision of someone jumping through the waterfall into the space beyond. You and your
ever-willing partner leap into the waterfall, and find a sprawling cave behind it.



Chapter 6: Team Skull

One day, Wigglytuff summons you and your partner to the Guildmaster's Chamber to give you
some fantastic news: you've both been nominated to be members of the big expedition to the
unexplored lands in the far East. You and your partner are thrilled to hear it. The Chatot
sends you off on a food-gathering mission, which you accept eagerly. You go to the Apple
Woods in search of the Perfect Apple, but when you reach the heart of the woods you find
Team Skull lying in wait.



Chapter 7: The guild's Big Expedition

At Wigglytuff's suggestion, the whole guild joins the expedition. The goal is to find
Fogbound Lake. Everyone splits off into teams and makes for base camp, which is the center
of the operations. You, Your Partner, and Bidoof take a seaside route and go by way of the
Craggy Coast, surrounded by water. After overcoming the treacherous Mt.Horn, you finally
make it to base camp.



Chapter 8: Groudon's Heart 

Once at base camp, the guild members all confer. Someone says that Uxie is at Fogbound
Lake, erasing the memories of all who go there. Could this have something to do with your
memory loss? Pushing on, you enter Foggy Forest and discover a huge statue of Groudon.
Just what mysteries are hidden inside?



Chapter 9: The Mystery of the Fogbound Lake

The fog has lifted and you pres ahead to the newly visible Steam Cave. Suddenly a great
roar reverberates through the air. You and your partner quake at the sound of a Pokemon
like none you've heard before. But you're determined to meet Uxie and find out the secret
of your missing memory. You reach the peak only to find your way blocked by the Legendary
Pokemon Groudon, large as life!



Chapter 10: Dusknoir

The famous explorer Dusknoir has come to Wigglytuff's Guild to hear all about the
Fougbound Lake's expedition. Meanwhile, Team Skull has hidden Marrill and Azurill's Water
Float in the Amp Plain in order to lure you and your partner into a trap. Unaware, you
rush of to the Amp Plains, but after hearing the whole story, Dusknoir rushes off in
pursuit!



Chapter 11: Grovyle the Thief

Chatot reports that the Time Gear was stolen from the Fogbound Lake. The thief turns out
to be Grovyle. Grovyle must be apprehended immediately, so you try to find the next place
it's likely to strike. You end up at the Underground Lake where Mesprit is guarding the
Tim Gear. But Grovyle shows up and steals the Time Gear!



Chapter 12: The Only Option

Dusknoir says it has a lead on Grovyle's whereabouts. Apparently Azelf is protecting the
Time Gear, so everyone heads to Crystal Cave. But you arrive at Crystal Crossing too late.
Grovyle has defeated Azelf and is at the moment stealing the Time Gear!



Chapter 13: Dusknoir's Secret

Dusknoir gathers all the Pokemon in Treasure Town for an announcement. It and Grovyle are
from the future it says, and Grovyle is trying to steal the Time Gears in order to destroy
the world. Several days later, Dusknoir captures Grovyle. They're all set to return to the
future, so you and your partner join the crowd in bidding Dusknoir farewell. But suddenly,
Dusknoir turns and drags you through the time rift!



Chapter 14: Into the Future

Flying through the future, you and your partner are taken to be executed alongside
Grovyle. But Grovyle coaches you to attack and break free, helping you escape from a
sticky situation. Grovyle runs on ahead, and you follow, with Sabeleye hot on your heels.
You scramble over punishing terrain and finally reach the Sealed Ruin. But no sooner do
you arrive that Spiritomb uses its powers to capture Grovyle!



Chapter 15: The Secret of the Planet's Paralysis

You and your partner are shocked to hear Grovyle tell you that everything it did was in
order to prevent the planet's paralysis. The three of you get Celebi to take you through
the Passage of Time and back into the past. But who should be waiting for you on your
arrival but Dusknoir! You overcome the danger and return successfully to the past.




Chapter 16: A New Dawn

The first thing you do once you're back in the past is hide out in an old hideaway of your
partner's. There, Grovyle lays put essential facts. What you need to do prevent the
planet's paralysis is take the Time Gears to Temporal Tower. Newly educated, you and your
partner team up with Grovyle and go to Treeshroud Forest.



Chapter 17: The Guild’s Crew

Now that you and your partner know the world is inching ever closer to paralysis,
it’s time to find the Hidden Land where Temporal Tower is locates. You spill all
to your friends at the Guild. At Wigglytuff’s suggestion, you talk to the Torkal
elder at the hot springs. It tells you that something needs to be done before you can find
the Hidden Land, and that something has to do with the mysterious pattern on your
partner’s treasure. Wigglytuff and Chatot know a place they’ve seen that
pattern before.



Chapter 18: Lapras

You, your partner, and Chatot head to Brine Cave. The last time Chatot was there, it was
defeated by a powerful Pokemon that lived there. Your team is just as beleaguered; you run
up against Team Skull, and on top of that have to face Kabutops and Omastar. Thanks to
Chatot, you and your partner make it into the chamber with the mysterious pattern. Taking
out the Relic Fragment summons Lapras, who offers to take you to the Hidden Land.



Chapter 19: To the Hidden Land

At last, you come upon the Hidden Land. But Dusknoir and its followers from the future are
waiting for you at the Hidden Highland. A round mortal combat ends with Grovyle
sacrificing itself to pull Dusknoir into the time slip. But there’s no time to
miss Grovyle; everything rests on you now. You and your partner board the Rainbow
Stoneship, bound for Temporal Tower.



Chapter Final: The Last Adventure 

You and your partner climb the crumbling Temporal Tower and confront Primal Diagla at the
Temporal Pinnacle. Primal Diagla has lost all reason and self-control and won’t
listen to a word you say. You and your partner muster all your strength to take down
Primal Diagla. You’re fighting to prevent the world’s
paralysis…and to defend peace in the world.
