This is not 4 this game, but 4 pokemoncrater and there is no cheats section 4 that so i will post it here. FAQ:

Pokémon Crater Battle Arena / Message Board
Questions & Answers & General Problems.

Problems. Most of you might at some point run into problems with PCBA, and then I advise you to come post the problem here so it can be fixed. But when you do so, please post in the “Problems/Errors/Glitches” Topic I have posted, so we can have all the problems gathered in one specific topic and not spread out all over the site so it becomes one big mess and we most likely won’t be able to help the problems go away. Also, when you post a problem, be specific about it. And if you have found multiple problems at one, state them all in one post instead of over several times. Thank you.

Q: I can’t log into my account, what am I to do?
A: Well, either one of two things have happened. You have simply typed in the wrong password or forgotten it. Use the password recovery option. If your password does not come in your email within 24 hours, the account is either gone or someone else is now in control of it. Do NOT give out your password to anyone for any reason.
The other option might be that you have stayed inactive for too long. This have cause your profile to be deleted under one of the routine clean up there is on PCBA every once in a while to keep the site up to date with members and to keep it from lagging.

Q: What are points for?
A: Points are used to calculate your ranking on Crater. Check the Top Trainers list to see how many points are needed to get there.

Q: Which types are effective against ?
A: Check the chart below. It's not completely correct but most of the time, it gives correct information.
The top row is the Pokemon type. The side row is the Attack type. Example: Find the Dark Pokemon type on the top row and follow it down to the Psychic Attack type on the side row. You will see that indeed this would come out as an immunity result in the Dark types favor.

Q: Where do I find this specific Pokémon?
A: Every Pokémon appears randomly on the maps, of course the Water Pokémon appear in the water and the other Pokémon on the ground. Dark, Shiny, Metallic, and Ghostly Pokémon however don't appear as often as other Pokémon since they are rarer. Another exception is the Legendary Pokémon; you will need all the badges from every gym and the Elite 4 before they will start appearing randomly on the map. They of course, neither appear as much since they are very rare. You may also check the location guide if you are still stumped on how to find the Pokemon you want.

Q: Do some Pokémon appear only/more often in caves?
A: Yes. That would be fossil Pokémon and any regular Pokémon also found in caves in the game.

Q: How do I get in the Top Trainers?
A: Train! Train! Train! You need to train your Pokémon up to level 100 and the just train another one and continue that way.

The formula for calculating points is (√Total Experience × √Average Experience × √Unique Pokemon × Battle Count) ÷ 100000000
Quote Mr_Hobo: The NEW formula for calculating points is the same as the old one, but now you have to log the battles. This makes it a very, very low number, lower than the square root.

Q: Hey, my points went down/up! What happened?
A: It may be a few things. The Pokemon you put into trade don't count toward your total experience. You can also get your points reduced or increased if you have caught/traded a lot of new Pokemon. And if you trade away higher leveled Pokemon for lower leveled ones that can decrease your points. Also, the battle formula was changed. The way points are calculated has been altered and players are experiencing point increases and decreases as a result. If your points are at zero, win a battle so they can be recounted.

Q: How do I trade my Pokemon?
A: Either go to the "View All Pokemon" page and select a Pokemon to put up for trade there or go to the Trade Pokemon page and choose the "Select Pokémon to put up for trade." option. But either way, you will have to capture at least 7 Pokemon to be able to trade. You cannot trade Pokemon in your team, only the ones that are in your box. Get at least 7 Pokemon and switch the one you want to trade out of your party so you may trade it.

Q: What are Dratinice, Dratinire, and Dratinilic?
Dratinice=
Dratinire=
Dratinilic=
A: These are Legendary Pokémon Aaron created. They are now available throughout the maps, exactly like other legendaries.

Q: What is Eva Dratinice?
A: This used to be a Pokémon Aaron created. It is no longer available anywhere inside the game.

Q: Where is the legendary map?
A: There is none. There once was, but it was removed and will not be put back.

Q: Then where can I find the Legendaries?
A: You can find them on all the maps. However, you must've defeated all the gym leaders and all the Elite four before they start to show up.

Q: Where exactly can I find the Legendaries?
A: In the grasslands maps: Latios, Latias, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Ho-oh, Deoxys, Raquaza, Entei, Raikou, Dratinire, and Dratinilic.
In grasslands maps water: Kyogre and Lugia.
In the cave: Deoxys, Jirachi, Registeel, Regice, Regirock, Groudon, Mew, Celebi, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Dratinice.
In the cave water: Suicune, Kyogre, and Dratinice.
In ice maps: Kyogre, Suicune, Dratinice, Registeel, Regice, Regirock, Deoxys and Articuno.
In maps 101 and 102: Jirachi, Mew, Deoxys, Mewtwo
In map 19: Entei, Moltres, Ho-oh and Dratinire.

Q: Do I need to have played a certain amount of times before Legendaries start to appear?
A: No, from the moment you have all the gym and elite four badges, all the Legendaries may appear. They are random however, so it's all up to luck. Legendaries can be obtained by trading for them.

Q: Do I need to have a certain amount of Pokémon at level 100 before Legendaries start to appear?
A: No, from the moment you have all the gym and elite four badges, all the legendaries may appear. They are random however, so it's all up to luck.

Q: I find a Legendary, do I have to spend all the time on it again to train it to a high level?
A: No, they appear with levels 70-85.

Q: Is it possible to get more than one Legendary?
A: No, it's not possible to get two of the same type legend (Example: it is not possible to legally get two Shiny Lugia on your account at once). The game will not allow you to have more than one of each type. (Example: You are allowed only one Shiny, Dark, Metallic, Ghostly and normal Entei)

Q: How do I find Shiny, Dark, Metallic, Ghostly legends?
A: They are on the same maps as the other Pokemon. If you are able to find normal legends, then you will be able to find legends in the other types. Do they appear often? It's all random.

Q: When is Aaron going to put up all Pokémon on the site?
A: All Pokémon are added. (The Diamond and Pearl Pokemon will be added after the games officially come out in English in Spring of this year and ONLY after the games are out. Not before. We know the names and sprites are available now. Stop asking for them to be added earlier or when they are coming.)

Q: When will the Diamond and Pearl Pokemon be added to Crater? I see/have the sprites and already, let's add them now.
A: They are only going to be added once the games are officially released in the spring in the English version, even though the sprites are available on other sites now. We know that the sprites and names exist already. It's hard not to have noticed. We're waiting for the official release of the US and UK versions of the games. Only then will all the new Pokemon be added.

Q: Which Pokémon are available at the site?
A: If you check the Pokédex on Crater you will be able to view all the catchable Pokemon at the site. The ones in the Pokedex are the only ones you can catch, not more, not less.

Q: How many Pokemon are there in Crater?
A: Total of Pokemon of a single type: 420 (Includes the Pokemon Aaron created: Dratinice/ire/inilic)
Total with all 5 types (Normal, Shiny, Dark, Metallic, Ghostly): 2100
Total of legends: 24 legends (Includes the Pokemon Aaron created: Dratinice/ire/inilic)
24 multiplied by 5 different types (Normal, Shiny, Dark, Metallic, Ghostly)= 120 legends.

Q: Is there any difference between Dark and normal Pokémon?
A: Yes. Dark Pokémon have higher attack power.

Q: Is there any difference Between Shiny and normal Pokémon?
A: Yes. Shiny Pokémon have more health than regular Pokémon.

Q:Is there any difference between Metallic and normal Pokemon?
A: Yes. Metallic Pokemon are unaffected by status conditions.

Q:Is there any difference between Ghostly and normal Pokemon?
A: Yes. Ghostly Pokemon have a 30% chance of Scaring (status effect) enemy Pokemon.

Q: Do Dark, Shiny, Metallic, Ghostly Pokemon appear more in caves or other places?
A: No, they appear any place at the same rate.

Q: Is there a certain coordinate or grid that Pokémon appear at, or is it just random?
A: It's random, they appear all over the map.

Q: What are the stones (ie: Moon Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, etc.)?
A: These stones are for evolving some of the Pokemon that require a stone to evolve. Before you evolve them, you will need to buy the appropriate stone and it will be used when you evolve that Pokemon.

Q: How do I use a stone?
A: Check your Pokedex and see if the Pokemon needs a stone to evolve. Only a few Pokemon need stones for evolution, and before that Pokemon will be able to evolve, it will tell you at the Evolution screen. The same Pokemon who needed stones to evolve in the official Pokemon games will still need stones to evolve in Crater. Find a Pokemon either at the "View All Pokemon" menu or in your Pokemon team, press the Evolve button, and if it needs a stone to evolve, you will be prompted if you want to use it.

Q: What do the items do/where do I buy items?
A: Go to the "Item Inventory/Buy Items" to purchase items. This is located in the "Your Account" drop down menu.
Potion: Heal 50 HP.
Super Potion: Heal 100 HP.
Ultra Potion: Heal 200 HP.
Full Heal: Heal all status conditions, including Confusion.
Awakening: Cures the Asleep condition.
Antidote: Cures the Poisoned condition.
Burn Heal: Cures the Burned condition.
Paralyze Heal: Cures the Paralyzed condition.
Ice Heal: Cures the Frozen condition.
Berries: Heals 20 HP.

Poke Ball: Catches a Pokemon under 14 HP
Great Ball: (Exact amount uncertain.)
Super Ball: (Exact amount uncertain.)
Master Ball: Catches any Pokemon any HP amount and at any level.

Q: Why did my money stop increasing after 16,777,215?
A: Because you have hit the maximum limit for money in Crater. You will have to buy more items or attacks if you wish to earn more money, but it will always stop at that amount.

Q: How do you switch Pokemon in your team with a Pokemon in your Pokemon box?
A: Go to the Your Pokémon Team in the "Your Account" drop down menu, there should be a "Switch" option, which lets you switch Pokemon. After you are finished, go down to "Save Changed Team" so that the team will actually be changed. Remember, you need at least 7 Pokemon in order to switch. You can't trade or release Pokemon that are in your party, only those that are in your box. If you do not have at least 7 Pokemon, you will have to catch more so you will able to switch them out of your party. Once you have more than 6 Pokemon, you will be able to switch one out so you may trade or release a Pokemon from your team.

Q: Do Pokemon learn attacks as they level up, like in the official Pokemon games?
How do I change an attack?
A: No, they do not. You will have to buy attacks at the Change Attack menu in order to change your Pokemon's moves. Find the Pokemon either in your total Pokemon box or in your team and press "Change Attack" to go to the menu.

Q: I evolved a Pokemon and it's past evolution was not included in my Pokedex. Why?
A: Crater was designed to do this. It's a way to make the game more challenging. If you have evolved a Wartortle into a Blastoise, for example, your Pokedex will not automatically add Squirtle and Wartortle in addition to your new Blastoise. Only Blastoise would be registered in your Crater Pokedex. You will have to catch or trade for another Squirtle and Wartortle, this is part of what unique Pokemon are all about. One of each evolution must be obtained for it to count towards your total PokeDex total.

Q: Are there stats in this game, like there are in the official games?
Are evolved Pokemon stronger than unevolved ones or do they gain any bonuses from evolving?
A: No, there are no stats in this game, and there are no bonuses to evolving a Pokemon other than getting a unique Pokemon to add to your Pokedex (read below for more about unique Pokemon). For example, there isn't a difference in strength between a level 18 Charmander who uses Ember on a Grass type Pokemon and a level 18 Charmeleon who uses the same move against the same Grass Pokemon. They are equal in strength at the same level when they are using the same move.

Q:Where is the PokeCenter so I can heal my Pokemon?
A: There is no PokeCenter in Crater. Pokemon automatically heal themselves after battle. Buy restorative items in the shop if you want to take care of the HP and status of your Pokemon during a battle.

Q: What do the Unowns do? Are they special? Do you get anything if you collect them all? What are Unown (QM) and (EX)?
A: They do nothing. They aren't any more special than any other Pokemon. They are just Pokemon in shapes of the alphabet, that's it. QM is a question mark shaped Unown, EX is shaped like an exlamation point. They are new Unowns found in the official FireRed and LeafGreen games, Crater did not invent them.

Q: What are unique Pokemon?
A: Unique Pokemon are each Pokemon you have in your Pokedex (orange pokeball symbols). Multiples of Pokemon do not help you here, only one will count.

Q: How do you see what server you are on?
A: It's in the beginning of the URL. The url on crater resembles something like this: http://www#.pokemoncrater.com/' The # stands for one of these numbers: 2, 3, 4, or 5. The numbers are the servers that you can get onto. There is no changing servers after you log into the game. A server automatically chosen for you when you log in. People on different servers are able to interact with each other no matter what, all of the servers are of equal efficiency and none are better than the other.

Q: What are those pictures over and underneath people's names on the forums?
A: They are signatures and avatars. It is important to read the signature limit before submitting a signature. Click here if you wish to enable a signature. Click here if you wish to enable your avatar.

Q: What is the text that some people have under their usernames and how can I get one?
A: They are customized titles. You must be a Senior Member before the option is available inside your forum profile. There is no need to PM the moderators to give you a title, once you get at least 500 posts you can go to your forum profile and edit it on your own.

Q: What is the ranking system for member's post count on this forum?
A: New Member: 0 to 19 posts
Junior Member: 20 to 100 posts
Member: 100 to 499 posts
Senior Member: 500 posts and above.

Q: How do I close/lock/delete/move my own thread/posts? How do I delete my own topics?
A: You don't, the moderators do. Members are not permitted to perform such funtions, only the staff members are.

Q: Where do I get a trainer card? How do I make my own trainer card?
A: There a few different ways to obtain a card. You click here to figure out how to use the automatic trainer card maker or click here for aid on creating cards by hand. You go to the Pokemon Art Gallery, find a thread of a person who says they are making cards, and then post inside their thread with the info that they request from you (what you want on the card and such.) Don't create a brand-new topic there, just find someone else's existing thread who says they are making cards and ask that person inside their thread.

Q: How do I take a screenshot?
A: Press the Print Screen key (top-right area of the keyboard, up near the F12 key), paste (Ctrl-V) the screenshot into a Paint program, and then "Save" to save the screenshot. Then use an uploading site to host the image so you can distribute it. Here is a hosting website: http://imageshack.us/
If you are using an operating system other than Microsoft Windows, then try going here to figure out to take the screenshot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot

How do I post an image?
A: Save the picture to your computer, use an uploading site such as http://www.imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com to host the picture, take the URL to the image and do the following:
CODE

Substitute the "your.image" to the link to your image or press the IPB Image button.

Q: How do I create a link to a different URL through a picture using BB Code?
A:
CODE
[url=url.you.want.to.link]

[/url]

Copy and paste the above, but you do not need to copy the word "Code" for it to work. Just copy the text underneath "Code." Substitute the "url.you.want.to.link" with the link you want the image to take you to and substitute the "your.image" to the link to your image.

Q:Where are the smilies for this board?
A: The link only seems to be in the blog area. This is the direct link taken from there: http://pokemoncrater.com/forums/index.php?...moticons&s=

Q: What's in that house on map 12? How about map 6?
A: Inside the small house on map 12, there are three computer trainers that you may battle.
A: Inside the small house on map 6, there is one computer trainer that you may battle.

Q: How can I calculate the damage of an attack?
A: Before you read this, please realize that STAB means Same Type Attack Bonus.
STAB means that more Pokemon gets an additional 50% damage to the normal damage because it is the same type as the move it is using.

([Base ATK of Move] * Pokemon's Level * Immunity Of opponent * Stab; if there is; u multiply 1.5, if there isn't, u multiply 1) Divided by fifty.
If the Pokemon is a Dark Version; Multiply by 1.2
Here is an example
Venasaur VS Dark Charizard
Venasaur
AncientPower
BASE ATK: 65
Pokemon Level: 100
Immunity: Takes x4 Damage
Stab? No; 1x
Dark? No.
So; lets do the maths now;
(65 * 100 * 4 * 1)/50
= 520
Therefore, most likely Charizard Will Die, but lets look at Charizard
Dark Charizard
Blast Burn
Base ATK: 50
Pokemon Level: 100
Immunity: Takes 2x
Stab? Yes 1.5x
Dark? Yes 1.2
(50 * 100 * 2 * 1.5 * 1.2)/50
= 360
Therefore; the Venasaur will live on 40 HP and the Dark Charizard will die like an overcooked sausage.
I have checked, and dark type Pokemon now do 20% more damage. Not the 25% that was in the old version of Crater.

I see That There is not an Exp/Level Calculator

Q: How can I calculate my experience/level?
A: Here is a way to calculate how much Exp you shall be receiving in a battle..
This is the formula For the Exp
[Total Level of Opponent's Pokemon'] / [Total Level of Pokemon You have Used] * 500
The formula for the Level is similar
[Total Level of Opponent's Pokemon'] / [Total Level of Pokemon You have Used]
I will Demonstrate with My Lvl 8 Pidgey training on the Account Zedjaflying..
Total Level of opponent's Pokemon: 600
Total Level of Pokemon Used in Battle: 8
600 / 8 * 500 = 37 500
or
600 / 8 = 75
Therefore; the Pidgey will gain 75 Levels if it successfully beats this account (i hope it doesn't get hit ^^)

Now; How to calculate it..; say with a whole team?
Well; look no further than here!!
Say.. i am using a team of lvl 10 Pidgey's and i am battling Zedjaflying
[Total Level of Opponent's Pokemon'] / [Total Level of Pokemon You have Used] * 500
[Total Level of Opponent's Pokemon'] / [Total Level of Pokemon You have Used]
Total Level of Opponents Pokemon: 600
Total Level of Pokemon Used in battle: 60
600/60 * 500 = 5000
or
600/60 = 10
Therefore, all of my Pidgey's will gain 10 levels totaling to 60 levels gained!!

Hint - Mission Farming:

At the "Wonder Mail" option in the main menu, enter this code:

???J+RY??PR1
P6?JN?6T4Y?S

The code gives you a D-Ranked Rescue Job in Mt. Thunder to find a Gold Ribbon for 200 Poke. Go to Mt. Thunder, and find the wanted item. Then, before you leave the dungeon, equip it to one of your Pokemon. When you leave the dungeon, the Gold Ribbon will NOT be handed over. Then, take the Gold Ribbon from your Pokemon and sell it for 2000 Poke! The Job will still be in your list, leaving you to repeat the mission as many times as you want, provided the client never gets the item.

Everybody knows how 2 get mew. Go 2 buried relic, fight the regi 4 their parts, obtain the music box, etc. But here's some tips on getting mew when u c it: Be alone, level 90-100, hold a friend bow, but u probably know that stuff 2. But here's something u don't know. Have yur team called something with "mew" in it. It will love the team name and join yur team and enhance percentage by 20%. My team name is Movin Mews, 2 let u know and got mew on my second try!
