Hi. I am afraid to say it is impossible. The only way to get mew is to beat mew at the
final floor in mystery jungle. Mew may not join but keep trying. To get mystery jungle,
you have to save sicor at blizzard island (after main story) and he gives you secret rank.
After the secret rank, go to spinda cafe everyday and talk to the people that give you
jobs. Some will say "this mysterious pokemon gave me this. " they will be any of the 7
treasure places. One is mystery jungle. Mew is on floor 30 and the pokemon at mystery
jungle are grass (you can even recruit grovyle :o). I'm afraid this is the only way so
good luck.

Okay so since mew is only able to be recruited at the end of mystery jungle,and is so hard
to recruit, try using wondermail s to get a gloden mask which improves recruitment
chances.
