you should get any bcoz they r all easy to upgrade and evolve...i got a turtwig and when i
got to the end of the start it was already lvl 70....but i recomend chimchar as chimchar
and ponyta are the only fire types in the start of the game and heatrn aswell but you get
him near the end

I THINK A PILUP IS SUPER GOOD TRUST ME GET A PIPLUP

in the end chimchar beats em all cause the fire types r always the srongest starters

actually i am going to get the game today so i can't battle you. I am the asker.

i am going to start with piplup because then it can surf later on and you can get water
pokes easily. With a rod it's kinda hard. Plus piplup can beat chimchar with bubblebeam.
And it can put up a good fight against Turtwig with peck.
