1. Press L+R at the inventory screen, then you'll get 493 Masterballs.
2. Set Masterballs' quantity to the Pokemon's number you want. (Example: Mew=Pokemon
number 151, discard until you have 151 Master balls)
3. Hold L and encounter Pokemon. DO NOT push L+R together again or you will have 493
Masterballs again (unless you want Arceus as his Pokemon number is 493)

i followed a youtube video exactly and the kid in hte video got it, but guess what?
all i get is arceus too. after catching 17 of them i'm sick of it!
can someone please adress this problem? it's not the discarding of master balls that's the

OK heres what you do
put in action replay ds
put pokemon diamond/pearl in it
turn on ds
pick codes in action replay (green circle w/white star)
pick pokemon modifier code
pull out action replay
put pokemon game in by itself
push start
after game starts, press l and r at the same time (then let go)
toss number of master balls so remaining number equals number of pokemon (toss 492, youre
left with one, it'll be bulbasaur)
exit start menu
immediately (before you move) hold l
walk (dont run, dont use bike) to gr*** or a cave
walk around and you will run into your pokemon
when you do, you can let go of l
use a master ball to catch it
afterwards, press l and r and you can start over with another pokemon from that point

you will find arceus a couple of times and then a little later after you try it about 11
times you can do any pokemon you want

......(You cannot have pokemon over lv 100, thats pretty much impossible unless you have
pokesav.)

and you have to hold L while walking or running in the gr*** while doing so.

throw away master balls to the certain number from the pokedex and press l and run in a
patch of gr***

p.s.to refeal the master balls press l+r

there is a big cetch no other cheats can be on and u have to start of in gr*** worked for

a few days ago my pokemon modifier code was working fine now when i press l+r nothing
happens and im stuck with 212 master balls but when i walk in the gr*** i still get the

i have the same problem yet... all you have to do is wait.... after 11 arceus you will get

throw away the balls that i want for the pokemon and wen i press L wile walking to get the

HOW TO USE:first press L+R to get 493 heartscales in ur bag.next get the pokemon u want
from NATIONALS DEX not regular. see number of the pkmn u want like my gyrados i got and
sub tract from 493 so gyrados it would be 493-130=363 so throw away 363 heartscales
away.if u want to activate shiny code go to trainer card and press R+A and hold L and walk
in gr***.if u dont want shiny then after u throw away the heart scales walk in gr***
holding L.

you press l and r then you toss master balls (if you toss 492 you have bulbasuar)and then
press ONLY r and WALK into tall gr*** and it should work

Can i put the balls in the PC and have it still work?

If the Pokémon modifier code is not working, you may have to delete the code and then
re-type it. Then follow these steps to activate it:

1. Press L+R simultaneously
2. Toss the Master Balls until you have the desired Pokémon's number
(Example: if you wanted a Typhlosion [my favorite] then you would toss 136 Master Balls
because 493-136=157)
3. Go into the gr*** while holding down L.* You can walk run, bike, w/e
*Note: Do NOT hold down L+R while running in the gr*** unless you want to get Arceus.
4. Once the desired Pokémon appears, you can release L.
