Action Replay On Emulator?


I am using No$gba emulator on my PC to play pokemon pearl(It's simply awesome), whenever i give in an action replay code into it, it crashes. The only code that works is the poffin cheat (it fills your poffin case with rich poffin x 99)
I need help desperately, PLE***SSS SSSE!!! !!

if it crashes your game then just dont use it
