I was just thinking the same thing earier today. I think that every series of pokemon
games has a spiritual place, where the dead spirits of pokemon lie. But, there's already a
tower exactly like that just east of hearthrome city. maybe the church is a "less scary"
place for the citizens of shinnoh to pay their respects to (there is some people in the
church who mention their dead pokemon). I just think that this series (dp) is more
religion based. Dialga and Palkia are reffered to as "gods" in the game, the church in
hearthrome, AND WHY THE PIDGEY DID THE ELITE FOUR BUILDING ALSO LOOK LIKE A CHURCH???!??!
