Diffrent types of pokemon can evolve diffrent ways

Depending on the pokemon, pokemon evolve in different ways. Some pokemon, like your
starter, evolve by simply leveling up to the right level. Others, like jigglypuff or
pikachu, need a certain item in order to evolve. There are some pokemon, like chansey,
that need to have a high friendship level in order to evolve and there are some, like
machoke, that need to be traded. There are even some pokemon that need multiple
requirements, such as riolu (riolu needs to have a high friendship level and it needs to
level up during the time period of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm). Hope i helped :3
