Pokemon Platinum Cheats :

This cheat for Pokemon Platinum [Nintendo DS] has been posted at 10 Aug 2009 by Angel138 and is called "Magkikarp is a king!". Easter Egg - Magkikarp is a king!

At the Resort Area you will see this fat guy sitting in a pool. Talk to him and he will say something about a king of the sea or something. What he is really talking about is that if you fish at a certain part of the Resort Area, VERY strong Magikarp will appear. My highest catch was a lvl 69 Magikarp! My friend claimed to get a lvl 78 one! The certain area is on a bridge in the middle of the Resort Area! Catch him like a normal Magikarp! No Masterballs needed!
P.S This is true because it says it in THE POKEMON PLATINUM OFFICIAL GUIDE BOOK! So please don't put thumbs down on me saying that I am lieing! :(

its not a red gyrados, its a level 100 magikarp, i checked and ive caught it

Red Gyrados's are shiny. In order to meet a red gyrados, it probably has to do with the however million pokemon needed to be seen to get one. as for the magikarp, i havn't done it yet, im going right now to try it ;)

damn i killed it. and its health was in the red and i used hypnosis and i was using darkrai and i didnt know darkrai had a mad *** ability that hurts the pokemon in its sleep and i killed it. >:(

well just throw an ultra ball at it. I caught a lv. 89 without doing any damage to it. and i havn't seen anything above 89 or any gyrados

Just to say, thnx to everyone who gave me a thumbs up! But don't aim for a lvl 100! Aim for a lvl 99 so that it can evolve into a Gyrados! P.S A red Gyarados is just a shiny Gyarados, its not anything that special. (other than the fact its shiny)- - :D- :D- :D

NO! Don't get a lvl 100! That means you will be stuck with a Magikarp 4 ever! Aim for a lvl 99 so it can grow one level and then evolve into Gyarados.

i dont get it.i was batteling a lvl 80 magikarp with my lvl 60 moltres but i defeated the magikarp!i mean its 20 lvls higher than me!D: anyway thats awesome the magikarp i battled used tackle X3 ~desu
