Secret - The Focus Punch Defect

by PossessedDeoxys Jun 04, 2012

The reason Focus Punch is so looked down on is because it is impossible, if not on the cusp of being so, to use outside of double battles. I for one find DynamicPunch+No Guard is on of the most effective fighting moves in gen 4 as it has 100% accuracy and a high confusion rate as well as a large damage indicator. Of course this is simply my opinion and by no means effects anything you should think.

Secret - EXTREME SPEED for DRATINI, DRAGONAIR, and DRAGONITE

by sapres Jun 28, 2010

A DRATINI kowing EXTREME SPEED is rare. The only storyline method in HEARTGOLD and SOULSILVER is answering the man in the DRAGON's DEN question's correctly. But, there is another method EXCLUSIVELY in HEARTGOLD and SOULSILVER. If you BREED a DRATINI, DRAGONAIR, and DRAGONITE with DRATINI, DRAGONAIR, or DRAGONITE. You have a chance of knowing EXTREME SPEED, DRAGON DANCE, and/or DRAGON RUSH. So you may have to do trails and error for awhile.
(*NOTE*: This can only be done by in POKeMON HEARTGOLD and SOULSILVER version)
(*NOTE*: You may have to try awhile so it ISN'T a guarantee)

Secret - Pikachu Colored Pichu/ Notch-eared Pichu Event!

by lil_shiny Jun 04, 2009

Like Pokmon Platinum, Heart Gold & Soul Silver have got special details implemented within the game if you send certain Pokmon over.. In Platinum, this allowed for new forms and capturing of certain Pokmon. However, Heart Gold & Soul Silver have got a slightly different take on this.

If you send over the special Pikachu Coloured Pichu obtained from the special 12th movie event given away from June 19th to July 18th, a special event will activate. This event takes place in Ilex Forest. When you go by Celebi's Shrine in Ilex Forest when you have the Pikachu Coloured Pichu in your party, a Notched-Ear Pichu will appear. The further details of this are not yet known. We do not know if it's just a story piece or if it allows access to other Pokmon. We'll bring you more on this as soon as we can.

Glitch - Places where you should never use walk through walls cheat

by insane321 May 31, 2010

Ok location number 1: The radio tower in golden rod city, reason: because it can make ur game freeze and you might wind up skipping parts of the main story which you NEED to complete or you wont get certain things like the nat dex, #1 place not to use the ww cheat: the very top.
location number 2: dragons den, reason: same as the last 1 but there r 2 things to know about it, places not to use the ww cheat: when ur leaving the cave after u take the test, and dont try to go to the room behind the main guy who gives the test. Effects: same as the first

and the 3rd and final location i noticed: dont try to walk through the boat house at either vemillion or olive city, it will freeze ur game.

thats all for now if you find any more locations PM me please. also here is my FC: 3226 8403 2830. I am only avaiable every OTHER weekend so pm me when you wanna battle but remember ONLY EVERY OTHER WEEKEND is when im on wi-fi

Secret - Gym Leader: Bugsy

by cab1214 Feb 15, 2010

Bugsy, is the Bug-type Gym leader of Azalea Town, as implied by her name. So, clearly, Fire and Flying Types would work best against this Gym.

-Metapod is Level 15, Female, and appears to be very easy to defeat.
-It's Ability is Shed Skin.
-All it knows is Tackle. Not even Harden. So if you can't beat this one, you have a problem.

-Kakuna is Level 15, Female, and also appears to be very easy to defeat.
-It's Ability is Shed Skin, as well.
-All it knows is Poison Sting. Not even Harden. So, same thing with her Metapod; If you can't beat her Kakuna, you have a problem. Although, you MAY want to bring Antidotes.

-Scyther is the powerhouse of Bugsy's Team. It is Level 17, Female, and could be a challenge for you.
-It's Ability is Technician, meaning that its weaker moves are powered-up. It is also holding a Sitrus Berry. So you may want to defeat it with one or two very strong moves.
-It knows Quick Attack, Leer, U-Turn, and Focus Energy.

For defeating Bugsy, you will receive $1800, the Hive Badge, and TM89, U-Turn. You can also use HM01, Cut, outside of battle.

Code - Pokemon with the most effort values

by Unregistered Feb 07, 2011

If you ever come across these pokemon and level up, your pokemon's stat will go higher then usual. The stat depends on the wild pokemon's highest stat. If you use pokemon modifier to make a pokemon with max effort points appear, you can battle it several times to maximize the effort level up. Be aware that Shuckle has the two max defenses to himself, so both defenses will go up more then usual. Have a blast making your pokemon better!

Code:Effect:
BlisseyMax HP effort points
Rampardosmax attack effort points (next to Deoxys attack form but you can't make that form appear)
ShuckleMax defense effort points
MewtwoMax sp. attack effort points (next to Deoxys attack form but you can't make that form appear)
ShuckleMax sp. defense effort points
NinjaskMax speed effort points (next to Deoxys speed form but you can't make that form appear)
