He likes unevolved Pokemon a lot. His only evolved Pokemon are Charizard, Ampharos, and Rapidash. I always tell him to evolve them, but he doesn't listen. But yeah, I'd like to battle Princeboo21 from Youtube. Almost all of his teams are UU.
The only unevolved pokes I think are usable are Pikachu and Clampearl
Why Clampearl?
Pikachu because of its special item - Light Ball
Clamperl because of his item - DeepSeaTooth
Also clamperl can be very useful during a trick room

A lot of what I have seen is within the BL tier though, I dislike battles that have only OU teams, it's too typical. I find that almost any pokemon (FE) can be useful given the right time and the right moveset.
I agree completely. Facing typical OU and UU pokemon gets a little boring. You know what the movesets are going to be and can usually predict whats going to happen. With unpredictable pokemon like unseen UU and NU, the game becomes a lot more fun

Yeah, I think they can have Swift Swim. I have a Quilfish, I just haven't put it into use yet. Jynx have good potential, but since their really *** looking, I use a Smoochum. Put it in a hail team, and give it a choice band, then sweep.

I figure Slaking is good for doubles since you can Skill Swap his ability away. Slaking has one of the higher base stats (670 I think) compared to OU pokemon like Garchomp and Metagross.
Technically Garchomp is uber now, but I don't really see why its any different from Salamence. It can't even D-Dance and has a lower base attack. Sure Garchomp has a bit more defensive stats than Salamence, but even so. Yet somehow people have much more trouble dealing with Garchomp. What a bunch of competitive babies >.>

Well think about it, Garchomp is Ground-Dragon how many Ice type Pokemon do you see that are considered OU, besides Weavile. And the only Pokemon that ever pack Ice beam are Milotic and maybe Salamance, but their really rare to get legit. I mean, Salamance is still weak to rock. And as for Dragon type, You don't see them on a non-uber team.

Yeah that makes sense. A non weakness to Rock is actually great with all the pokemon packing Stone Edge these days. I guess I never really had a problem with dragon types though. Since I hate dealing with them all my teams have some way to cope with a dragon type.

Well, as long as you have a ground type, that's not Rhyperior in a double battle, Discharge could work really well. Plus, on a Rain Dznce team, Thunder is optional, along with Iron Tail, or go for a Double Team/Substitute, Focus Punch combo. As for stats, I try to EV train in Attack, and both Defenses. Iron Tail deals with Pikachus' Ground weakness.
