You're pokemon's levels need to be in the 90s & have a good variety of moves, google to
see which pokemon are on his team & you can decide what pokemon are best to use

After you defeat red, go to the sliph co. Building i can't remember whitch city it's in
but it's in the kanto region, lance will be there & he will give you a hoenn starter of
your choice

Lance does not give you a starter steven does!!! Wow you do not know anything at all!!!

I agree with vixen he is wright but not really true my typhlosia is al level 74 and my
lugia is level 72 and other pokemon buti beethalf reds team with them first is pikachu
then lapras then snorlax then blastoice the next two are either charizard or venusaur

Have looots of revives or other healing items your startes 3rd evalution dos good too
trust me.he is also a very good way to train pokemon

Well he will throw out pikachu first so have a ground type out and have it at least level
60, and lapras, you will want a pokemon to use sunny day so that it is not hailing or else
blizzard will hit 100% instead of 30%.

The rest of the pokemon are then pretty easy.

Charizard, blastoise, venesaur, so use a water/rock/electrick for charizard,
electric/grass for blastoise and psychic/flying/fire/ghost for venesaur, snorlax, just put
out a fighting type and it will be smooth sailing.

Have your favourite pokemon with a variety of moves. It can be tricky but know your
pokemon weaknesses and give items to change their stats. I could give a full list but i'm
just getting back into pokémon myself and am a little memory jetlagged.
