Walkthrough - The Pokeathlon"When you look at a Pokmons Performance info, youll see that each Pokmon is graded on five categories: Speed, Power, Skill, Stamina, and Jump. How your Pokmon does in the Pokathlon is determined by these Performances. Its Important to know that these Performances dont stay the same every day. Each day your Pokmon Performance will change a little bit, so its important to check out each Pokmons Performance stats before moving on to the next step. Youll be able to tell what kind of a day your Pokmon is having by looking at its Performance page: the stars for each category look a little bigger if theyre better than average or smaller if theyre worse that day. Your Pokmons Nature has a great effect on their Performance, as well. A Pokmon with a Relaxed Nature will tend to have much better Stamina, but much lower Speed, for example. You can find out how Nature affects your Pokmon Performance with this chart. Power Stamina Skill Jump Speed Hardy Good Bad Lonely Very Good Very Bad Brave Very Good Very Bad Adamant Very Good Very Bad Naughty Very Good Very Bad Bold Very Bad Very Good Docile Good Bad Relaxed Very Good Very Bad Impish Very Good Very Bad Lax Very Good Very Bad Timid Very Bad Very Good Hasty Very Bad Very Good Serious Bad Good Jolly Very Bad Very Good Naive Very Bad Very Good Modest Very Bad Very Good Mild Very Bad Very Good Quiet Very Good Very Bad Bashful Bad Good Rash Very Bad Very Good Calm Very Bad Very Good Gentle Very Bad Very Good Sassy Very Good Very Bad Careful Very Good Very Bad Quirky Bad Good Once you have a good picture of the current condition of your Pokmon team, build up their Performance with Aprijuice before entering them in the Pokathlon. Each flavor of Aprijuice builds up a different Performance stat: Spicy Aprijuice boosts Power, Sour helps Stamina, Dry adds Skill, Bitter boosts Jump, and Sweet increases Speed. There are limits to how much Aprijuice you can feed your Pokmon. Your Pokmon will only be able to get better at a particular stat if it has an empty star in that category. Once all the stars are filled up, thats as far as your Pokmons Performance can grow. And while your Pokmons stats change every day, their potential (the total number of stars, including empty stars) doesnt. If youre looking for a well-rounded Pokmon, look for one that has high potential, such as Sunkern, who has a five-star potential in every category! Your Pokmons potential is yet another reason to check your Pokmons Performance stats before feeding them Aprijuice. You can get Aprijuice from a variety of sources, including the Aprijuice stand near the Pokathlon Dome. Three out of five vendors Aprijuice appears at the stand each day, and each vendor sells a different style of Aprijuice. Check out this chart to find out which vendors make which kinds of Aprijuice. Victor Krise Gilmore Elaine Holden Spicy Somewhat Very Sour Very Somewhat Dry Very Somewhat Bitter Very Somewhat Sweet Very Somewhat Of course, you can always make your own Aprijuice. Its not hard at all. Just find Apricorn Trees all over Johto, pick the Apricorns from them, and then throw them into your Apriblender. Heres a hint: the longer you walk around to mix up the Aprijuice in the Apriblender, the milder the outcome is, which will lead to better-quality Aprijuice that your Pokmon will enjoy more. Examining your Pokmon each day and feeding them the appropriate Aprijuice will only get you so far in the Pokathlon events. Perhaps more than any other activity, youll need to practice plenty before you can win consistently." Doing well in the Pokathlon has its benefits, particularly when it comes to the prizes you can earn by competing! Youll earn Athlete Points after every event, which you can then exchange for these prizes. Each day of the week, a different set of items will be for sale at the Athlete Shop, so be sure to check back every day to view the entire inventory. The items for sale include more Apricorns so you can keep a steady supply of Aprijuice ready for your Pokmon. Perhaps more valuable are the items that you can use to evolve certain Pokmon, such as the Moon Stone, Metal Coat, and Kings Rock. These items arent all that common, and the Athlete Shop is a pretty low-cost way of picking up more than one. Plus, youll find excellent items such as Rare Candy and PP Up in the Athlete Shop. These items require quite a few Athlete Points, but remember youll earn more points depending on how well you do. As long as youve followed the steps to maximize your Pokmons Performance before participating in the Pokathlon, youll be earning loads of Athlete Points during every event! I unlocked friendship room without using any aprijuice it might even lower your performance if you're not careful and in relay run you can actually switch your pokemon by dragging it backwards with your stylus.

Well yeah I know. It CAN but normally it doesn't and if it does you can just get some speed juice. I'm terrible at making Apriljuice so I just buy some or just even it out and everything turns out awesome.

Waah... My aprijuice is crap all the time... One time said it's got a disgusting aftertaste. ick. I play for fun, but I'm really not getting anywhere, but maybe this'll help.^^
So, is there a limit to how much aprijuice u can feed a pokemon before its stars even fill up cuz I don't want that to happen...

Nope. There's no limit at all, which is AWESOME!! But there is sort of a limit cuz you can only feed a Pokemon Apriljuice until it has that stat maxed out. For example . . .
You feed a Lugia a Skill Apriljuice. You can feed it this stat is to the max.
