As a lot of people know that the odds of finding that shiny pokemon are against you. Your odds are 1 in 8195. Well, a new secret is to get a pokemon that is from a game that from a different nationality. Make a egg from that poke and your chances of getting a shiny has dropped drasticly from your 1 in 8195 to 1 in 1365.5

Make a egg from that poke and your chances of getting a shiny has dropped drasticly from your 1 in 8195 to 1 in 1365.5 In order for it to actually be 1365.5, you need a special item that you get when you beat the elite 4. The item increases your chances by 4fold! (to 1 in 2048.75). This stacks with the breeding thing to change it to 1365.5
