This is both a question and a discussion thread. The topic: cashing in on one's past conquests by importing Pokemon from other games.

My question is this. I have a super-powered-up team in my Pokemon Colosseum, and a friend and I are trying to devise if I could import them all the way to Pokemon White Version--for if I can, no trainer would ever be a match for me. Since the team itself is unimportant, I'll leave that out unless asked. I need someone to confirm if I can trade across to these games, as that is our current devised path:

Colosseum to FireRed or LeafGreen
FR/LG to Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum
D/P/Pl to White


So why is this a forum instead of a Q&A? Because, I'm interested in what you think about it. Do you think it's fair that one can pull in Pokemon from other games? For one, it seems awful silly to go hunting for a Pokemon you already caught once, but on the other hand, importing them early on would have you demolish everything. I think the gym badges are supposed to help with that, but this is my first time attempting to import and all...

So, question and discussion. Please help if you can!

yes you could do the whole trade senario that you put above to get your pokemon from colosseum to white

He's right, use the GC, GBA connector to trade your team over to Sapphire or any other of those games. Then, migrate your team to Diamond, etc. and trade them over to B/W

you know you have to beat the game before you can bring in pokemon from other games
