You start out in your bedroom with your friend Cheren. Professor Juniper has left a
present in front of you with three starter pokemon. Bianca comes running up the stairs.
Because the present was delivered to your house, your friends let you pick first. Open the
gift box and get your first pokemon!
Starters: Snivy, the grass type, Tepig, the fire type, and Oshawott, the water type.
Depending on the one you choose, Cheren will get the one strong against yours and Bianca
will get the one weak against yours. In other words...
Snivy- Cheren/Tepig, Bianca/Oshawott
Tepig- Cheren/Oshawott, Bianca/Snivy
Oshawott- Cheren/Snivy, Bianca/Tepig.
Pokemon Stats/Moves: Snivy: Tackle, Leer. Tackle- An attack move. All the starters have
this. Leer- A move that lowers the foes defense. Only Snivy has this. HP-20,
attack/defense-9, SP.attack/SP.defense/speed-11. Tepig: Tackle, Tail Whip. Tail Whip-
Another defense-lowering move. Tepig and Oshawott have this. HP-22, attack/SP.defense-11,
defense/SP.attack-9, speed-10. Oshawott: Tackle, Tail Whip. HP-21,
attack/SP.defense/speed-10, defense-11, and SP.attack-12. Choose the one that suits you
best! :D
Next, your friend Bianca will battle you. If you win, youll earn EXP.points that help your
pokemon grow lvl by lvl.(Battle Tip! Try using Leer/Tail Whip a couple times, then Tackle
to damage the foe more than usual. Do Tackle again until the foe is defeated. Also,
depending on the starters speed stat, you will go first.) You get 500$ for winning. After
the battle with Bianca, your room will be destoyed! :O! Luckily, youll battle Cheren next-
without your room getting worse. If you win, youll get 500$ and your pokemon will grow to
level 6!(I forgot to mention the starters are all at lvl.5 when you first get them.) When
your pkmn ups a level, its stats will up too.(Tepig's SP.attack wont rise at that time.
Sorry.) Your friends will then go downstairs to appoligize to your mom about your "room".
When you go downstairs, your friends will be talking to your mom. Cheren will go to
Professor Juniper's Lab, and Bianca will go home. Your mom will also heal your pokemon and
give you the Xtransceiver!
Now you should go to Bianca's house. Go south from yours and turn left, then go inside the
house in front of you. Bianca and her dad are fighting. When she sees you, she will get
embarrassed and go to Juniper's Lab where Cheren is. Go inside the lab and see Professor
Juniper!
First, Juniper will give you the chance to name your pokemon.(Name Tip! If you are going
to name your pkmn, look at the gender first. Also, you dont have to name it of you dont
want to.) Next, Juniper will talk about the PokeDex. She will ask you to go on a pokemon
adventure to complete the PokeDex. Then she will give you a PokeDex! Juniper will ask you
and your friends to meet her at Route 1 for a lesson on catching pokemon.
When you go outside, your mom will give you and your friends some Town Maps. Now head to
Route 1! Professor Juniper is there, ready to start the lesson. She will walk into the
tall grass, and a wild pkmn will jump at her. The wild pokemon is a lvl.2 Patrat. Juniper
will send out a lvl.7 Minccino. When Minccino attacks Patrat, Juniper will use a PokeBall
to capture the wild pokemon. She will also give you some PokeBalls after the fight. She
will then go on ahead to Accumula Town. Bianca also gets an idea- a pokemon-catching
contest! Whoever gets the most pokemon, including the starter, is the winner! Both Cheren
and Bianca will get 2. Now start catching pokemon!
Route 1 Pokemon: Lillipup, Patrat. You should try to get Lillipup. You may want to talk to
people here and read signs, too, because they will tell you something useful. They might
even give you a random item! At the end of the route is Cheren and Bianca. Like I said
before, they will find 2, their starter and Lillipup. So if you have 3 or more, you win
the contest. Professor Juniper will call you on your Xtransceiver. She is waiting at the
PKMN Center in Accumula Town. Cheren and Bianca will go on ahead. Now walk forward to
Accumula Town!
