The closest thing I heard was to get your population up to 500,000 in global warming era.
That is nearly impossible, and it came from a non-trustworthy source. I also heard that
polluting you city works, but it didn't seem to.

i just fount this out it is a display of your symbol of ages go to gallerie and go down to
the last option youl see

All you have to do is beat the global warming age 3 times each time unlocking a different
symbol of age. Once every symbol is unlocked, you unlock the future era.

What u need is to build a city with all SOTA (symbol of age)

what you do is defete master sim

you have to get more than 500,000 people. i got my population to 516, 452 and my
approval to 93%

also, building large parks in non-polluted areas increases land value to best.

you need to pass all three global warming eras.
Then you need a 100% approval.
Then you destroy all trees and parks and put coal power plants everywhere.
And make sure the year is 20xx.
Finally, make sure the whole map, yes the whole map, is covered and smothered with
pollution

I dont kno about playa's clozet, but i du kno that his idea would ruin the whole city.

I did it once, so i got TONS of tips.1. destroy pop-up pollution by building parks after
checking the pollution sheet in the Information page.2.buildlots of parks 3.only put
industry near eco resrch labs[not env. protection centers(they wont hold up to it.)]

you want to get pop around 500,060 then you get one hundred percent approvle you pollute
the city (the approvle will not go down) then you have to wait until 20xx then you will
get a requst to go to your office then thare you go.

i heard that u say "no" at dawn of civilazation then build a garbage dump which will turn
into a tree

1. make the dump at ancient era and keep it until GW, then build the archeology rsrch lab
and boom! , prof sim will ask for cutting the tree for a super land value museum
2. to beat GW, raise your pop by 500,000 sims , the best ways are to bulldoze your
industrial era city and go to GW withouth a city , then your objective is 500,000 pop.to
reach this pop. , make lots of large parks(small dont work ),they raise land values and
are your best friend against pollution
3. to easily beat any period , go to options and put MONEYBAGS as a password and get
unlimited money ( it doesnt mess up the game , as its a in-game cheat)
4. to reach the future , beat global warming era (GW) and pollute the city HEAVILY 9 just
copy the file and your city will not be ruined (playa's clozet isnt wrong)and change all
zones to HD zones9 THIS IS ACTUALLY THE ONLY WAY TO REACH 500,000 SIMS ( the other zones
dont afford much sims ) , but hd zones need good land values (very high or best)and 3x3
spaces to become high-rise condos or italian condos(residential) and departament stores
and brand buildings (commercial) , and industry dont need values , so put them in corners
, near the eco reseach lab
4. to finisgh trash , use 8 recicle centers and 6x3 dumps near industry
5. dont use agriculture
6. to quickly raise values, make 3x 9 spaces with roads and put 3x3 HD residential in left
and HD density 3x3 commercial in the right , in the middle put large parks
7 large parks are better than zoos and stadiums, but schools and hospital help too

Ok, first you have to get 100% aproval. Then just POLUTE your entire city. 80% of your
city must be red. Don't put the indrusty to early, or else the land values will die and
you cant get the condos.

Here goes... the passwords for the Asia Development Age are....SAKURA and DYNASTY!! Now
you got the passwords your looking for!!!

i got my population in global warming age to 701,000!!!!!!

I have a Problem. I put in the code BEYOND and it said i can use that era now. I click on
the pic of the tree looking sybol and nothing happens.

well i dont beleive in the polutttion thing becouse i tried it thousands of times with my
population well over 800 000 yes 800 000 and nothing happened what i think the makers of
the game made the nnew games possible but the old ones no

A new solution to get to the future, is to build a nuclear plant, let it have a meltdown,
and there you go. Thats at least 85% of pollution right there.

The best ways to get through the eras is to start at ancient, and put in the cheat
MONEYBAGS, and fill up every space you have with residential, and and some of the houses
won't have food, but your population should go up to about 2,000 in a couple minutes, and
then put farms wherever you can in the empty spaces (your not gonna unlock things like the
alter) and once you get to 5,000, stay til 6,000 to unlock the garabage dump. then once
you get to Europe or Asia, do the 3x9 grid thing and put farms in between the buildings,
and once you get to the next age, and you unlock big parks, take out all of the farms and
change them to big parks, that way the land values will be pretty high once you get to
Modern Age, and for the power plants, to reduce polution, pick one corner of the map, put
about 9 coal plants (or others once unlocked) and use power lines to spread the power.
Once you get your population to 500,000 in Modern Age, take out everything green and
replace it with something the pollutes, heavily. And don't put industrial in the
residential or commerce areas, put them around the power plants, since they don't need
high land values to apear. And once you get to Modern Age, make sure to replace everything
with HD zones. Hope this helps.

Here‘s a description of what the future is really like. The cities will be built on the
water...litterally. Instead of roads, there will be energy lines, which are essentally
tubes on supports which hold the famous flying cars. Power plants will be the only thing
still buildable on land. Zones will only be in the 3x3 type. And civics (police and fire)
will be morphed into one building. Same with the schools and hospitals. Unlike the
previous time periods, when the goal is complete, the symbol of the age will just pop up
out of nowhere. The goal is to use the buildings and trees to get rid of the pollution
used to get to that age.(ironic isn‘t it?) Also there will be some other surprises
waiting for you in the year 2080 ad.

1)Finish the age before GW but DON'T go to GW.
2)First raze everything possible(then all buildings and civics, not the gift buildings and
the SOTA)
3)Now go to GW.
4)Are you in GW?Good. Save and quit.
5)In Options>Passwrd menu put MONEYBAGS to get 99999999 §. Return to GW.

6)I suggest to build 9x9 quartiers and put a large park in the middle:thus increase the
value of the land.
7)In the last 30 squares(about), build a dozen of centrals(preferably oil plants, but coal
work too)
8)Around the centrals build HD industrial zones.
9)For the quartiers in p.6, build in the first HD residentials zones, in the second HD
commercials zones, in the third HD R. again, etc etc(like a chessboard).
10)Connect the quartiers with the centrals. Add water. Add civics.
11)Wait.

In the post-Global warming age, my population got to over one million!!!!!

in GW my pop is 426,000 and i can't get it up anymore my map is full
im trying to full water in without leting the water plants not have any.

after that my pop is now 431,000 and im just plain stuck
i did make that tree (u know the garbage dump tree)

if u know how to make it higher tell me

just to let u know i have industril on one quater (but a bit smaller)and the rest is
houses and shops and small (about one squre)of water with water pump

In the post-Global warming age does the map like flood so all the buildings are destoyed

this is not a mega fast way to win but it is easy first bulldoze entire city (watch out
for the very old tree it is able to be destroyed it this time) next make sure you have no
pollution on the top or botom of map depends where you build you R or C zones next make
some roads starting at the top or bottom and go all the way across the make another on
about 6 spaces way put a bunch of parks for land and pollution the put your zone keep
doing the same thing until you win this works best with nuclear or geothermal plants so
make a lot of schools and do not forget the cops or hospital i have beat ths ALL 3 times
doing this so it should work.

in post-gobal warming u can get up to 1.2m sims
but to keep your heath lvl up is almost impossable

i just beat it. you have to get 100% approval by raising your pop. by 500k from the amount
you had at the beginning of the era. when you do, the game will be over and the credits
will roll. Afterwhich, you can go back to your save data and you will pick up where you
left off as if it saved when you beat the game. Now pollute the map and you will get
invited to see the future and play there.

I'd need a savefile for that...I really can't get it done.

i followed everything it said and i got to go to post-global warming age and basically you
have to clean up all the pollution in that age (ironic isn't it?)but try using the code
MONEYBAGS on password in options and before you go to the future,in GW age the WHOLE map
must be solid red of pollution leave no parks trees ponds or any other recreational in
20XX and the future is very exciting TRUST ME...

oh yeah i forgot to tell you uh you dont have to destroy the giant tree in the future its
called :the super giant tree and its huge!

poor ppl are stuck inside the buildings in the future cuz of pollution :(

dont pollute during development have lots of parks and other recreation try building parks
next to HD factories to decrease pollution

It is impossible to get to the future age, I only have 200,000 and I used up all my space.
Plus, 2 by 2 buildings keep getting destroyed. Also, how do you get the big tree, and what
do you mean when you said you beat GW 3 times
