You need to press a and r together jump as you have been holding the arrow key down and
the a button then when you reach the top press r

it will charge the spring, then when you think you got enough power, let go of down.

If you almost reached it but didn't charge it up enough to get up the ledge, press R+Up
d-pad to get a little boust up to get up to ledge before you fall back down again

on the springy thing if you cant reach the ledge, when you get to the highest you can go
press the r button.

u cant just press r. you press up and when u get to the top
