Super Mario 64 DS Hints

Make Yoshi as your character then head outside the castle. There will be some bunnies running so try to swallow them. Spit them out then they'll give you a key to unlock some games for peaches game room.

Note: These keys are for Yoshi's game only.

To beat this level you must get to the top of the mountain (head to the power star on your map) and head to the bomb omb It would be best if you choose a player like Mario Run around to his back and throw him on the ground but don't throw him off the mountain Do this three times and your done

Use Luigi. Go to the floor where Tall Tall Mountain and the Water Bug Picture is.

EXTRA STAR!: Now, look for all the Toads on the floor without looking in doors. Talk to him. If you don't get a star look for another Toad. One of them will give you a free star after you talk to him! Lucky you!

Anyway...look for the room where you got Wario. There will be Power Flowers there. Get one and walk through the mirror. Go and open the door on the other side of the mirror. You should enter and see a White Room and find a star.

Go in the house as mario. Head straight, then left. Go in the blank door, NOT the 3 star one. Next, chase the boo into another door. This is the garden, but don't be fooled. Head left, and look at big boo. Then try to sneak up on him and punch him. Once you've done that, jump in the cage. Welcome to big boo's haunt! Now, to get Luigi in this mansion:
Head straight and go into the mansion. Run foward and triple jump onto the second floor. From there, head to the farthest right door. Grab the power flower, and float up to the secret door. Ground pound there, and go through the door. Head right, and go in the Luigi painting! Head to the right door. Then take the left. Take the right one again, and then take the elevator thingys to the farthest left one. So take three of those things, and run foward all the way to the painting of boo. then take the lifts, and head in the chimney hole. Run up to the mirror, and watch as Big boo comes. Now sneak up on him using his shadow and the mirror. Punch a lot of times, and the luigi key is yours.

1. Go and get Luigi. (If you do no have Luigi, you can find himby doing the same thing just going into the Wario painting!

2. Up the Tower stepts and into the mirror room.

3.Get a flower.

4.Walk thruogh the mirror.

5. Open the door.

6. You be in a white room so get that star BABY!

On the top of the mountain don't up the tower. find the side and punch on it and when u discover the side appears a 1-UP mushroom.

Go to the area with the Pirrahna Plants and hit the switch. Run across the bricks and onto the island. Now get the coin and wait in that spot. You will be teleported to the pipe near the Pirrahna Plants again.

If you're injured,you can heal WITHOUT taking coins.
Just jump into the water,then stay afloat.The life bar will heal as if you're underwater for too long.

Secret Move:

Breakdance = R + A

Do this trick by breakdancing. But quickly flip over after. If you are running stuck on the last bit of the hill, don't just jump! Instead, jump and while youe in the air, Press B to scoop. Good Luck,!

After you unlock Mario, go through the doors that lead to the basement, and follow the big boo into the courtyard opposite the stairs. Once there, destroy the biggest boo and enter the cage that falls out. Go into the double door, when you are in the room do a triple jump and you should get on to the top floor. Keep trying if you don't get up the first time. When you get up go to your right not to the blue room on the map but the other one (it has a little blue on it. In there is a? Box and in that there is a flower power, float up to the top and you will see a door go through that and you will find Luigi's pic go through that to get the key. This way you don't need to get the first star. Hope this helps

When you are falling from a great height, ground pound before you hit the ground to save yourself from losing some health.

If your low on health, try to find some water. Swim under the water for a few seconds and then swim back up to the surface of the water. You should regain health.

If you're Yoshi,you can swallow small,square,wooden boxes(for example,a box like the one at the beginning of Hazy Maze Cave)and turn them into square eggs!

1-2 The Princess's Secret Slide In the Character Selection room, the player can jump into the Princess Peach stained glass mural on the right, as it will lead to a secret slide. Getting to the end will reveal a star, and completing it within 21 seconds will reveal yet another. Anyone 3 The Secret Aquarium In the room leading to Jolly Roger Bay, the player has to backwards-somersalt into the alcove in the left side of the room. The player will have to swim about and grab all 8 Red Coins. Anyone 4 The Secret of Battle Fort In the Courtyard, the player can find three bricks placed together. The player will have to Ground-Pound or punch the bricks to expose a secret entrance to the Battle Fort. In this area, the player has to grab all the Silver Stars while avoiding Heave Hos and a Chuckya. Anyone but Yoshi 5 Switch With 12 stars and playing as Mario, the player has to go to the starting point in the castle. The player will have to rress and hold the X Button to enter First Person mode, than look up into the beam of light. Here, Mario can both stomp a Switch and grab 8 Red Coins to earn a Power Star. Mario 6-7 Behind the Waterfall The player will need to use use Metal Wario to collect the 8 Red Coins in the speeding river behind the main waterfall in Hazy Maze Cave. To enter, get down to the bottom section of the cave. The player has to ride on Dorrie to gain access to a door nestled in a nook by the lake. Then the player will have to jump into the pool to enter the area. Another star can be found using Mario. At the small island at the end of the area, the player will have to jump into the block and grab to Power Flower. Then the player has to float up, following coins, to grab another star. Wario/Mario 8-9 The Secret Under the Moat The player has to collect 8 Red Coins over the obstacles with all three plumbers. Enter this area by draining the moat, the using Wario to smash the black bricks over the entrance. Wario must use a Luigi hat to get the Red Coin star, but a Mario Hat can grab a Switch Star. The player will have to grab the hat, the race back to the end of the slope. Then the player has to jump into the block and gain the Power Flower, then float over to a small outcropping to the left. The player then has to stomp onto the Switch for the Star. The player then has to use two Power Flowers to make Wario's way up to the star. Wario in Mario's and Luigi's hats 10-11 Over the Rainbows The player will have to fly and collect the 8 Red Coins from the many clouds. Enter by leaping into the alcove to the right in the room with the entrance to Tick-Tock Clock/Bowser in the Sky. Also, on the island with a cannon, the player has to grab the Wario hat. The player will have to talk to the Bob-Omb Buddy, leap in the cannon, and carefully fire Mario/Wario to the island with a Black Block. The player will have to break it and grab the Power Star. Mario 12-13 Bowser in the Dark World Race up the four outcroppings above the see-saws to claim the Temporary star after hitting the switch near the pipe. And after collecting 8 Red Coins, another star will appear near the tube! Anyone 14-15 Bowser in the Fire Sea The player will have to race up the four outcroppings above the see-saws to claim the timed Star by wall-kicking up the various ledges near the Bowser warp pipe. Collect 8 Red Coins to earn another Power star. Mario or Luigi 16-17 Bowser in the Sky The player will have to race up the spinning purple spear with an Amp rotating around it to claim the timed Switch Star after hitting the switch below the Whomp. The player can also collect 8 Red Coins to grab another Power Star. Anyone 18 Red Coins in the Courtyard In the Courtyard, the player will have to ground-pound or punch every Boo to earn 8 Red Coins to get a Power Star. Anyone but Yoshi 19 Sunshine Isles In the Rec Room, the player will have to leap into the small painting of a sunny island. Here, the player has to grab 5 Silver Stars to earn a Power Star. Anyone 20-21 Goomboss Battle Red Coin/Switch Stars In Goomboss Battle, Mario can cross rickety platforms to stomp a switch and Wall-Jump up to a Switch Star. To grab the 8 Red Coins, Mario must use every character's cap to smash black blocks, wall-jump, turn transparent, and backflip his way to the Red Coin Star. Mario with Caps 22-23 Big Boo Battle Red Coins/Secret Stars In Big Boo Battle, the player can use Luigi to snag every Red Coin and unearth a star. Luigi again must make his way to the end, then grab a Power Flower and race through the Boo painting near the collapsible bridge to get another star. Luigi 24-25 Chief Chilly Challenge Red Coin/Secret Stars In Chief Chilly Challenge, Wario can turn metal and slowly make his way up a narrow, windy path to smash a black brick and earn a Power Star. Luigi is the best choice for collecting the Red Coins. All are easy to grab, but Luigi must turn transparent to grab to last one. Wario/Luigi 26 Through the Looking Glass In the mirror-filled room leading to Snowman's Land and Chief Chilly Challenge, use Luigi to snag a Power Flower and run through the mirror. Go inside the door on the other side, leading to a Power Star in a white room. Luigi 27 Eight Glowing Rabbits After 8 Power Stars are secured, Glowing Rabbits randomly appear around the castle in place of ordinary ones. Eight must be grabbed to earn a Star, but they are so scarce, it's rare to find one. Yoshi can wrap up this problem, though. He has six rabbits out in front of the castle, three in front of the bridge, one in the moat, one in the flowerbed, and one in the hedge. The seventh one can be found in the basement next to the Lethal Lava Land painting. When the last one is caught, a key is given that unlocks the last room in the Character Selection area. Inside this room is a Power Star. Anyone 28-30 Toads' Secured Stars The helpful Toads have snagged three stars, as the only way to get them is to talk to them. Toads with stars are: Near the entrance to the Hazy Maze Cave course; On the castle's second floor, near the painting that leads to the Tall, Tall Mountain course; And on the castle's third floor, just right of the big clock that leads to Tick Tock Clock. Anyone

You need to be able to access the Star Door at the top of the stars in the main room. Go through there. *As Luigi* Enter the doorway at top and you'll find yourself in a room with a huge mirror. Grab the Power Flower and run through the mirror. You then get to the otherside and jump into the picture of Wario's face.

You need to go through a path with Bully's, platforms, and a few other things. At the end, there is a hole. Jump into it and you fight with the boss, Chief Chilly.

Chief Chilly is the boss you need to defeat to get Wario's Key.

To defeat this boss, you need to push him off of the battle area 3 times. What you need to do is to get him to go closer to the edge. When he is near, punch him or dive into him to push him off of the battle area into the bluish sea.

He'll bounce up and down and then get back onto the battle area. He'll destroy some of the outer part of the area, meaning there is less space to walk on.

Now, you'll have to do the same thing again, and he'll bounce back on the battle area, breaking the outer part again.

Not only is there little room to move, you'll have to try even harder to defeat Chief Chilly.

Repeat the same process, but as he is about to fall off the battle area, he'll stand on the edge, wobbling and trying to stay on. Punch him quickly and he'll fall off.

You will then get the key to open Wario's Door and unlock him.

Okay, I hoped this helped.

Go up to the middle room on the 2nd floor (you need Luigi) and go to the mirror room.Get a Power Flower and punch the mirror. Go to the Wario painting. Beat the big dude and you'll get Wario's key. I hope this cheat helps!

U know the courtyard Go there (u need 20 stars or so though). Ground pound (kill) the big Boo and enter the bird cage. Go into the mansion, through the main entrance, and get onto the balcony thing above the first hallway. Go into the room furthest to the right and get onto the stage. Using Mario, get up, onto the platform above u, and go through the door. Get into the Luigi painting. Go through the door to the right, then left, and so on until u get to a room with a massive collapsing bridge. Go across it, and then use the green lifts to get up into a hole, go in. Look in the mirror (zoom in) and defeat King Boo, to unlock Luigi.

P.S. Ground pound him and it has more effect.

Go where you see a small,puffy cloud with a face. It is not Lakitu. When you're near it,you will see a wall with coins floating around it. Jump into it and you're in a secret slide!

Once you have read my guide for luigi, try to get wario. Enter the castle as Luigi. Head straight, and go upstairs. Head in the room with the mirrors and Snowman's land. Hit the power flower, and go in the mirror. Jump in the Wario painting. Slide down, and rde the wind to the ice platform. Kill the bullies if you wish. Jump through the next platforms, onto the next peie of ice, and ride on the thing. Now jump off it into the lower platforms. Ride the wind again. Head straight , and ride the ice platforms, jumping from one to another. At the next ice place, run onto the ice lifts and just get up there. Jump in the hole, and fight chief chilly for the wario key. He is like a giant bully, so punch him off the ice three times. You got: ALL THE CHARACTERS!!!

Enter the Bob-Omb battlefield,then eat something that can be made into an egg then get into a cannon and aim anywhere and press a.

Jump in the clock on 3 and it will be slow. Jump in the clock on 6 and it will be medium speed. Jump in on 9, and it will be fast.

If you want to stop the gears and platforms to stop moving in the Tick Tock Clock levels, jump into the clock when the minute hand is on the 12. If you jump in when the minute hand is on the 3, the speed will be slow. 6 would be medium speed and 9 would be fast speeed for the platforms and gears.

In the room with 4 doors that have these symbols on them: M, L, W, and -, there is a portrait of Peach on the left and right. Jump into the one on the right to fins this hidden slide. Finish the level and a star awaits you at the bottom.

Ok. Go to the mirror room,look in the mirror (this is on the left) you'll see a snowman painting. Go to that same space you saw it( you don't need Luigi)and jump in. It's a Winter Wonderland.
