Hidden in the game, there's an enemy shaped like a Star. You can find him in Gleam Glacier, Wavy Beach, and Fury Volcano. He flees as soon as you move. So, fly up to him (joy), and then change to fire (anger). You have just defeated the Star Guy. If memory serves me right, you gain an ability after beating him.
