Chapter 17-2


I got into the tunnels bit coz i need to get to the top of the fortress i went into the first door and didn't push the leaver came back and killed ice bear with iorek then went to the second door and got the tiger form for pan and went to the next gate but it said it was blocked how do you open it??? Please help!!! i have been stuck on this for ages it has been driving me crazzzy yyy!!! !!!

look at the symbols on the side of the gates it is quite frustrating as you thin...


look at the symbols on the side of the gates it is quite frustrating as you think youre
going round in circles getting nowhere just keep trying all the levers you will come
across a key but this doesnt open the blocked gate it opens another one somewhere else (i
think)look for the levers and the up and down arrows just keep trying i do warn you tho
when you get to the top you have to fight that monkey again good luck

kill the flies while in tiger form change to the bird pick them up before they turn green
and drop on monkeys head hit monkey again in tiger form you have to be quick it will drive
you mad but im sure youll get there. good luck

CHAPTER 17-2


First Level - entrance, go up the platform.

Second Level -

Enter, Quickly switch to Iorek so he can go kill the bear and the witch, then switch to
Lyra and check all the rooms but do nothing (this helps you get your bearings, note where
you came in and where the drop off is and how many doors there are at this part), Once
you've done this, go into the room with the level and activate it, go check the rooms
again, get Pans tiger form on this level, then find the new door that has a platform that
goes up (go up)

Third Level -

Enter, have Iorek kill enemies, Have Lyra check all of the rooms and pick up items, don't
do levers yet, again note how many rooms there are and where your entrance is wrt to the
drop off, go activate the lever, now go check the rooms again, you will find the key, go
back and activate the lever the other way and use the key to open the room at the end of
the path, then go in and there should be another gate that will have a platform that goes
up (go up), if you don't reactive the lever to move everything back and go through the end
of the hall it will take you to another platform that goes down rather than up and is very
confusing.

Fourth Level -

Enter, have Iorek kill enemies, check all the rooms, activate first lever, this will open
up a new room with a second lever so go activate that lever, then go back and go through
the door at the end of the hall, have Iorek kill the enemies of course, then go through
the next door by activating lever and go up another platform which should put you outside
so that the monkey and steal the alethiometer and you get to fight him this time getting
stung by the silly flies as well
